I mainly bought this pan for bacon and fish, but I am finding it is useful for so much more. It can go from stove top to oven, which is so convenient. This pan is great for preparing almost any food. I can fit it in my dishwasher, too, which was a nice surprise. It's low profile fits in my oven, which is where it lives in my house. I find myself reaching for it over and over again instead of my other large skillet, because the larger surface area accommodates larger amounts of meats without overlapping them in the pan. As expected, when using an oval pan on a round burner, there is some degree of uneven heating. You really need to either move the food or move the pan around on the burner so the food cooks evenly. I have a ceramic top, and I just move the pan as needed. I also like to use this to my advantage to put items to
I recommend this product.
