Excellent food mill experience
I purchased the Cuisipro food mill to use for separating tomato juice from pulp and skins to use in canning tomato juice. The mill was easy to assemble, easy to clean, and performed to my expectations. I would definitely recommend this product to my best friends.

Albeit a bit costly, this item is a must-have for every kitchen. It does make a scraping noise that can get under your skin..

Used to make applesauce and it worked well with very little time spend cleaning away the skins. Great product!!

This unit comes with a clip that is suppose to fit on the bottom of the pan. The clip is very difficult to attach. The diagram on the back of the box that demonstrates assembly has instructions that are not listed in English. After spending some time putting together, the item worked okay.

I am so impressed with the weight, sturdiness and the features. I had purchased a food mill from a local hardware store and had to return it because it was so cheaply made I couldn't get potatoes to go through it. This is much better and the choice of blades is very nice!! Looking forward to a long and happy relationship.

Jack, This Cuisipro Food Mill has made me some very good tomato sauce using the little phamphlet that comes with the mill. The mill has three disc that have different size holes! I have used one for tomato sauce and one for apple sauce. I followed the guidlines in the little phamphlet and bolled 8 apples and also added 4 brown pears and boiled them separately. It said I could boil them in water or apple juice so I used half water and half juice to boil the apples and the pears. I put them together and it made a very good apple sauce, and the sauce was thick and not so soft as what you buy in the store. According to the little phamphlet I added some apple juice into the mix when it was finished to soften and thin the product. The 'Oven-Roasted Fresh Tomato Sauce' was also very firm and has a very good taste. I have a lot of allergies but the little phamphlet said to just add some Italian Seasxoning and I am not allergic to this. The textujre of the sauce has bigger and firmer lumps than store bought sauces, and the taste is very fine! I am about to use some of the tomato sauce and mix it with some Rice Vinegar, fructose sugar, a little apple sauce, some tomato paste, and a little salt and put them in my Cuisinart Convection Bread Maker and make me some Thick Chutney or what I hope will be ketchup. My allergies require that I make a lot of things which don't contain cane or beet sugar or nuts and things made from nuts. I use fructose sugar and now I enjoy these foods and have no problem with sinus headaches or any allergic reactions! Glory be to Jesus for his great blessings! I hope you enjoy using your food mill too! Sincerely Yours...

Very easy to assemble, and sturdy to use. Although it has 3 grates, I wish it had an even finer one, but that is just my preference. I am certainly glad I purchased.

My wife and I have used it just once, but it worked great! We were making Maryland Vegetable Crab Soup, and decided to use it in processing two cans of tomatoes. The end result was beautifully pureed tomatoes, with all of the seeds captured. Great product for the money, and well put together. -- Bob

Very smooth operation, rices potatoes very nicely...easy to assemble and take apart for cleaning...sturdy construction, comfortable handles. I can tell this will be the last mill I will need to buy, it will work for many things and last a very long time.

Finally, I purchased a food mill. It is wonderful. I used it on our fresh frozen, organic tomatoes from last summer and fall and boy was that wonderful to have in the dead of winter! We had so much last year I thought I was going to turn into a tomato! I will use this for tomatoes mostly but think it would work well with berries, too. Great product and great service. Thank you Food Network.

It is very hard to use as someone has to hold it because it has no way to anchor it to a bottom bowl. Should be greatly improved for the price.
