This is absolutely the best! We have been total fans since season two and anticipate each new season with bated breath. We follow all of the "Star" winners shows faithfully and truly all of them. Food Network Star is genius, as is the insider guide. So many fond memories and tearful moments from each season. Will & Lorrie Rogers Woodinville, WA

Included a Great Surprise!

by Kevin, TX

I never expected that the book would come with autographs from Jeff, Aarti and Melissa. Yay! In addition to that, it is a beautiful book with lots of great recipes, photographs and "inside scoops." I will be buying several more for Christmas gifts. (My only regret is that it was published before Jeff won, but the Season 7 section is pretty complete otherwise.)

Show Coverage

by Betty, NC
September 4, 2011

I have watched every season of Food Network Star and loved every minute of it. I love the concept and how talent is what wins out, in the kitchen and in front of the camera. There have been times when someone I liked was voted off but I could see and understand why. The book was just like remembering all of the contestants again and what happened. You hit all the high spots. I haven't finished it yet, but it is great so far. Good work!

Interesting facts behind the show

by Atty, PA
September 5, 2011

While we don't get to see all the production of the show, it is interesting to read how the participants prepare and organize for the tapings. The story of the unseen stress is interesting.

I've just started watching Food Network in the last year and now I'm addicted. This book is just awesome for me as a "catch-up" on all that's happened on this incredible show. Haven't tried any of the recipes yet b/c my oven died and I'm waiting on the arrival of my new one to break it in real good!

Have only tried 2 of the recipes thus far. Directions and ingredients are easy to read and understand, which I greatly appreciate. I'm enjoying the experience. In fact, my handyman has asked me to order him one.

As a Food Network listener to the Star series, I appreciate seeing faces that I just saw this season along with the other series. I also appreciate the receipt of the Signed Bookplate that came in the mail today that was not included in the original shipment. I am looking forward to the next Star series. The Truckload series is good.
