I change the water every day and make sure no crumbs end up in the butter. It makes a world of difference to have spreadable butter but everyone knows that! Ask yourself how annoying it is to get a hard pat of butter while in a restaurant!

I absolutely love the Butter Crock and my daughters do also. Always having soft butter handy is wonderful especially when you get up in the AM and want to butter a muffin or tea biscuit. This is the best invention!

Paid a bit more than I would have liked but they shipped fast. A plain one would have been nice- we dont have anything else with french on it in our house. It serves it's purpose and is cute to boot.
