This fry cutter worked very well. The suction the holder created held very firmly to my tile counter top. The potatoes we had were a little big so we had to slice them into quarters but even then what would have taken at least 20 minutes Only took 5.

My family loves french fries and I had grown tired of hand cutting them... this saves a lot of time in the kitchen! The only negative thing I can say about it is that I did not buy it sooner! As another review states only does small and medium fries. Well built for the cost.

I was prepared for stamped metal and plastic -- which *is* what you get -- but I was surprised by how well it worked and that it's still going strong a few weeks later.
Positives: two different cutting sizes; both are easy to swap and both work well. Rubber suction plate kept the whole thing rock steady on a countertop.
Negatives: fits small to medium potatoes. Anything else has to get cut down.
