With the Ball FreshTECH Automatic Jam and Jelly Maker, you can treat your family to delectable fresh fruit preserves and spreads at any time. The appliance provides an easy, fast process for making old-fashioned jam. You can choose to make a variety of spreads with fruit ingredients like blueberries, peaches or strawberries along with pectin, sugar and butter. You can even make a reduced-sugar recipe for low calorie jam.
The innovative new Jam Maker appliance will make a fruit spread in just 30 minutes. Instead of the traditional time-consuming large batch canning method, the user friendly jam and jelly maker can make small batches. Now you can try-out fun new recipes and experiment with old recipes without the commitment of making a large batch. After washing and crushing 2 2/3 cups of fruit, sprinkle 3 tablespoons of pectin over the fruit and add 1/2 teaspoon of butter. With just a press of the jam button, the unit begins stirring and cooking the ingredients. The maker will signal when it’s time for the 3 1/3 cups of sugar, which should be added gradually.
Once the jam-making process is complete, the jam maker will emit a signal. With the jam and jelly maker, you will no longer question if the recipe has cooked for the proper time. In addition, families can enjoy the fruit creation immediately, or you can continue the preservation process. If you decide to preserve the jam, just bottle the product in freezer-safe jars or finish canning by adding the jam-filled jars to a boiling water bath. The appliance can make about 4 (8oz) half pints of jam or jelly during each batch.

Other then the shipping issues of the product. I'm very happy. For the first time making jam it was very easy and I was so happy that my jars sealed.

I really like this product, I'm still waiting to try it though. My only disappointment was that after I purchased it I went to Amazon.com and I could have purchased it for $25 cheaper, ugg!!! I will check other websites first before ordering again.

I was getting frustrated because my jams would not set, when I found this amazing machine. Follow the instructions and you will have awesome jams to stock your shelves for the winter season. Do I sound excited? I am! This machine is all that it says it is.

As I was peeling pears for preserves I wondered if the process could be easier with using a slow cooker. I started looking online and found the Jam & Jelly Maker. This is a great product. The preserves must be boiling for a while so it didn't work on them but otherwise this is neat the way it works

I bought this for making small batches of fruit from the garden, it is costly, think it should be half the price really. Recipes are simple with this for the small batches I wanted to make.

Wow....Really like this product a lot. I have learned to make great jam and my family freinds are always wanting me to make more. Easy to use and clean. I love this proeduct. The customer service from the maker is awesome and I could think of a better product to use and people from the maker to work with.

EASY. PEASY! Just follow the directions and listen for the beeps. And the clean up is a breeze. I wish I'd had this years ago!! I used the less sugar version and am glad because I could taste the berries and not as much of the sugar. Started and finished in practically no time at all because I was able to get everything else set up while the jam maker did it's thing. Love it. A little pricy, for me, but over time I know it will pay for itself.

As this was a gift for my daughter I have never used it. She was extremely pleased to get this and can't wait to start making jams and jelly. It is made very well and looks easy to use which is what drew her to this product. The inclusion of a recipe book also helps. She plans on making a lot of jams.

I am not too much on gadgets that purport easy but this one really works! The only disadvantage is small batches, but no longer that it takes you can turn more juice to jelly quicker than the old method. I really do enjoy this product.i haven't had a failed batch.

I love this product. I always would say I would go pick berries and make jam but the thought of the mess used to make me have second thoughts. The Automatic jam & jelly maker allows me to make a small batch when ever I want. YUM!!!!
