I used this vegetable Strainer Attachment to make Tomatoe juice and it worked wonderful. Cut the time it 1/2 that it would take to do it by hand. I give it a big hands up. It was not real messy when I used it. Clean up was a breeze.

Bought one for ourselves...

After using our in-laws attachments...we finally bought one for ourselves... great for making tomato (Italian) sauce for canning....
We will use this for at least a week during the end of August this year and can about 72 quarts of sauce.
We (I mostly) do not like seeds from any fruit...so this attachment is GREAT....

Good addition to your Kitchenaid especially when it comes to canning all those fresh garden vegetables and fruits. Easy to use.

Another Kitchenaid attachment . . .

I bought this to make applesauce with some apples my dad gave me that are very soft as soon as they get ripe. All I did was quarter the apples, boil them until soft, and put the quartered apples into the fruit/vegetable strainer. All of the core, peels, stems, seeds, etc. were very nicely separated from the applesauce. It was a bit messy, but worked great. As with most of the Kitchenaid attachments, I think that their products are overpriced for what they are. I buy them and use them and I think they are great products (never had any problems), but I believe that Kitchenaid makes too much money off the attachments.

A must for making baby food

We have made all my sons baby food. This is great for any soft fruit puree. We have made tons of apple and pear sauce with this. This works great for bananas as well. My only complaint is the shield can be knocked out of place (rotates) if knocked with your elbow.
