It looks like a good product, but you would have to have a real big apple to use it.

Had broken several apple slicers and none lasted over a couple of months. This apple slicer is made very sturdy and you can tell it is very well made. Not light plastic. Like the rubber grips on the side. Blade cuts apples very well.

I love apple slices but I am sometimes in such a hurry I won't take the time to cut one up! Now,....no more excuses! Easy to use and cleans up quickly.

We frequently give our dogs apples and carrots as snacks/treats. Have to core apples because they can't have the seeds, and this slices to boot! Sturdy feeling without seeming heavy. Takes about as minimal a core as possible. Grip handles mean no-slip. Would use it on a mat or towel or something -- the blades, when pressed on countertops, might (over time) make some marks.
