The granddaughter of movie producer Dino De Laurentiis, Giada was born in Rome and grew up in Los Angeles, where she now lives.

It is also nice to see a picture of what the recipe looks like so you have some idea as to what it is suppose to look like when YOU make it. Keep up the great and fabulous cooking Giada - you've gotten me back into old fashion home cooking again and my family and friends thank you as well. Now, nothing is left over anymore. If it is - someone always wants to take the leftovers home.

However, the response from the outside vendor that shipped this book to me was unacceptable. I had to call everyday to see if it had been shipped and I had paid extra money to have it shipped by Christmas. They neglected to send me a tracking number so that I could check on it. Other than that, I was pleased with the contents of the cookbook as it was a gift for my Grandaughter.
