Glass Measuring Pitcher with Lid by Bormioli is WONDERFUL!!!!!! Because it is very heavy and strong. I love this size perfect for refrigerator. :) I use it for salad dressing, gravy, cream, etc. I wish it was one gallon too because I cannot find one gallon pitcher with lid at any stores. :( Most store has plastic pitcher with lid. :( I heard that plastic is not healthy because of chemicals. The glass is BEST quality. :) I encourage you selling one gallon pitcher with lid too. :) Why not try?? When you will have a gallon pitcher with lid, please let me know right away because I want to buy it from you. :)

I love love love the lid that comes with this measuring pitcher! I always seem to make more batter than needed (especially when making pancakes!) and with this, I can easily store leftovers in the fridge without worrying about refrigerator odors creeping in and without transfering it to another container and making an even bigger mess. My kids like it too because it means we have pancakes more often. I also really like that it is dishwasher-safe.

I have used this pitcher several times when I was baking. I have found it to be very useful. I would recommend this for people who love to cook and bake.

Glass pitcher review

These pitchers are great. I have several of them and use them every day for my morning oatmeal. I have a oatmeal shake in the morning, and with these I can mix several up ahead of time and put them in the fridge with the included cover.

It is great for keeping pancake batter in the fridge and it is large enough to wisk eggs and just pour the amount you want in the pan.

Love this measuring cup. Can be used in the microwave and dishwasher. Many of my recipes call for 4 cups. This is for 3 cups. Wish it came 1 cup more. The lid is hard for my hands to use. It even works as a great mug for my morning drink starter. I like this item so much, I purchased a couple for gifts.

Top Does Not Seal in Refrigerator

There is a flaw in the measuring pitcher's top. It will seal at room temperature, but once it cools down in the refrigerator, the top comes unsealed. It is very annoying. When I take the pitcher out of the refrigerator, the top comes sliding off. Also, I can't shake anything in the pitcher because the top is not sealed.
The pitcher is useful for measuring and is a good size. But the flawed top renders it almost useless for storage.

One of My Favorite Things in the Kitchen

I love this measuring cup for storing batters and whipped cream after beating it in the cup with electric hand mixer, so it doesn't spray out when initially in liquid form. I mix batter for crepes in it, or anything for later use. I've given several as gifts.

A shade disappointed...

i really like this measuring cup with one exception. i was looking for a measuring cup that also measured "up to" one cup. this one starts at one cup. now i have to find smaller measuring cups to fill that gap.

A handy kitchen item with a lid. Very good quality. A must!!

I had a glass measuring pitcher from Dansk that broke. It was made better then this one but it was more expensive too. This pitcher is a good value, my only complaint is it has a defect in the glass that sits right behind the handle; its sort of bowed. For the amount of money I paid, its not worth sending it back.

Great product

I bought this thinking I would use it once in a while, turns out I use it everyday. It is a great addition to the kitchen! I will be buying more for gifts.

This measuring pitcher is fantastic! Wish there was one in the same shape only larger. Pours great no spills. Love it.

Perfect size

I used to have one of these and one day poured boiling water into it and cracked it. My husband and I used it all the time. It's not as wide as many cups so takes up less room in the cupboard. It feels good in your hand.

Really convenient!

I have been looking for pitcher a like this for a long time. A lot of times, I get called away from what I am doing in the kitchen or I have leftover batter and I am always scrambling for a container to put it in. This makes it nice and convenient until I can get at it again.

Optimism

Although I've actually yet to use this product I made this purchase because I anticipate it will be an asset to my cookin/baking style!!!!!
