As a stroke survivor, I'm disabled. I only have the full use of my left side, disabilities including my right hand. The engine red KitchenAide stand mixer is both practical and beautiful. I made muffins in it last night. Changing the beater was easy, and the 5-quart bowl made the mixing a breeze. Clean up was no problem at all. I really enjoy using this machine and would recommend it to everyone.
This mixer fulfills all my expectations. It does the job with ease, handling heavy batters with no problem at all.
Because it is heavy, it doesn't move across the counter as my old mixer did, and the various beaters than came with it have all been used and appreciated, too.
THIS MIXER IS SO SIMPLE TO USE! IT DOES EVERYTHING A PROFESSIONAL MIXER CAN DO WITHOUT THE PROFESSIONAL PRICE TAG. IT'S A GREAT ADDITION TO MY KITCHEN AND HAS MADE MY TIME IN THE KITCHEN GO A LITTLE SMOOTHER.
I CAN'T WAIT TO BUY MORE ATTACHMENTS!

Fellow cooks, don't procrastinate investing in a really good mixer like I did and spend too many years mixing everything manually. This KitchenAid mixer makes everyday tasks in the kitchen so simple. I don't have all the fancy attachments, but am using the dough hook and flat beater just about every single day. And since arthritis has set into some of my fingers, I am so glad to have this mixer that holds the bowl steady and works the dough. And the handle on the bowl makes it easy to manage. I make bread a couple times a week and muffins/scones and sauces about the same. Also use it whenever an entree wants something prepped by mixing. One bowl, one quick cleanup afterwards. Place of honor on the kitchen counter. Too good to be true.
Only negative is the color: my cobalt mixer has a tad of purple to the blue tone (unlike all my cobalt pottery), and so I put the mixer on a hammered aluminum tray to give it a break from the dark blue of my
I purchased this stand mixer as a gift for a family member. I already have an Artisan Stand Mixer and it is simply the best mixer on the market. Easy to use and with a very strong motor it whips through all my Christmas cookie batters.
I would definitely recommend this mixer to anyone looking for a quality product.
My husband asked me if I would like a stand mixer for Christmas. I told him I knew just the one I wanted because I had been looking at the KitchenAid Black Artisan Mixer for a long time. It was everything I had hoped it would be and more. I told him I wanted it before Christmas so I could use it for my Christmas baking. It was so easy to use, and made making large batches of cookies so simple. I made the best pie dough that I have ever made with this mixer. I would recommend this mixer to anyone who wants a stand mixer.
I absolutely love my KitchenAid Mixer. I wanted one for several years as I can no longer mix cookies or bread by hand. This mixer stirs clear to the end, even the chocolate chips. I leave it out on my counter because it looks so good with my matching toaster.
This mixer is everything I wanted and then some, the first thing I made in it was a very long and lenthy recipe...something you would not want to do with a hand mixer.
I was able to get all my other ingredience's together while the machine was doing the work. It was great and mixed everything so well I hardly had to scrape the sides down.
I love it !
One often wonders what kind of wedding gift would be useful and appreciated. I chose a KitchenAid mixer based on personal experience, having had one for many, many years. In that time I found it to be easy to use and of excellent quality. I received a thank you note from the newly weds which said that it was by far their most appreciated gift and that it was used
My first use of the mixer was making a double batch of chocolate chunk cookies. I was amazed at the speed and power the mixer had creaming the initial ingredients. The choice of speeds adds to the versatility of the mixer. Only downside for me is how heavy it is to move. It's a good thing it's attractive because it has to stay on the counter, no way I could move it each time I want to use it. Cooking.com's price was $100 less than the department store price and that doesn't include the $20 rebate and free magazine subscription that I would not have gotten had I bought it at the store! Overall, I'm delighted with both the mixer and cooking.com
What can be wrong with a KitchenAid Appliance?? NOTHING! I expected the best and got it with this purchase. As a Breast Cancer Survivor, purchasing the Pink Cancer Awareness Stand Mixer was an added bonus. Not only is this appliance top of the line and beautiful on my kitchen counter, it performs all tasks with precision. Great Value, Great Buy!
This is a great cooking tool! It is powerful enough to handle any job, and I love that you can add other attachments/tools to it. This is the second one I have owned, and the only reason I replaced the first one was because I needed a bigger capacity and more powerful motor. I recommend it to any good cook!
I have wanted to treat myself to a Kitchen Aid ever since my sister in law received one from my father for Christmas. It is now nearly 17 years later and I now finally have one. It is quite obviously beautiful and let's face it, if you do the cooking you deserve something pretty to look at! The functionality is terrific! Imagine making fresh whipped cream without feeling as though your arm is going to give out on you? I like bread machines but now that I have the dough hook on my K.A. the sky is the limit! I am very excited and I must strongly suggest to others to go ahead and treat yourself. It is not a Harley (much more cost effective...hehehe) (this is how I justified my purchase to my significant other.) Cake anyone? Enjoy!!!
