THE Best Food Mill

I make applesauce every few weeks and never has a food mill compared with this one. The mill mounts on top of any bowl or pot with its fold-out legs so it is above the applesauce that has been strained from it. The legs are coated with rubber so that the mill does not slide. The mill processes the apples very quickly and it's stainless and white-painted surfaces are easy to clean, minimizing the chore of making homemade applesauce. I initially bought this mill for my daughter after researching and trying many mills (even those much more expensive than this one), and when she raved over it, I decided to replace my former food mill with this one. Don't look any further. This is THE ONLY food mill to buy!

Finally, a food mill worth owning...

I had tried a few other brands of food mills, but they were either flimsy, or just pushed the food in circles without pushing it through the holes on the disk. I was so excited to read that OXO was finally offering a food mill. I bought one as soon as they became available, & I'm not disappointed. Intelligent design & sturdy construction plus a rough texture on the grinding disk that grabs the food so that the rotating blade travels over the food, effectively forcing it through the holes - perfect! And, since it's OXO, I'm sure I can count on it for years to come...
I can't wait to make cranberry sauce for Thanksgiving!

This food mill is so easy to use and easy to clean. I use it most often to make mashed potatoes. There are no lumps and the potatoes don't get thick like a mixer can make them. It does a good job on all the foods I've tried with it.

OXO Does It Again - Great Design and Function

This food mill is really well designed for cooking and for storage. The rubber-covered support legs fold up for storage, yet provide good support and stability during use. I'd recommend this product to anyone.

I LOVE MY FOOD MILL!!

This is the most awesome kitchen gadget I own! I absolutely love it and I am so glad I bought it. I would buy it again and again! When the UPS man came up the drive, I ran outside to get the package. As soon as I was back inside, I opened the box, took out the food mill, washed it in warm, soapy water and used it to make 40 pints of pear butter. I LOVE this thing! It's easy to use, easy to assemble and disassemble, easy to wash, and stores right back in its own box. It is just awesome!

Releived at the Ease of this product

I love this food mill!! I was intimidated but determined to learn to use a food mill for canning purposes and I was so releived at how easy it is to use. It's sturdy and easy to clean, when you clean right after using. Best investment I've made for our kitchen in a while. Thank you Cooking.com for providing a great product at a great price.

Mashed Potatoes

This product is great for separating the skin of beans to make a nice thick soup base. It can be used to make mashed potatoes and baby food also!

versatile and well built

Gave as a gift to my daughter-in-law who has interests in cooking and canning foods as well as making her own baby food. She loved all the discs and versatility of this food mill. She was quite pleased with this gift.

This product is made exceptionally well. It is sturdy, with solid leg extensions which make it easy to mount on top of a bowl when using. Clean up is a breeze. It is a very well made product that does a great job at a reasonable price.

I NEEDED A FOOD MILL FOR MY SUMMER CANNING OF SALSA AND JUICES. FOUND THIS OXO FOOD MILL ON LINE AND ORDERED IT. THE OXO SAVED TIME AND MY HANDS OF MANY EXTRA HOURS OF WORK. THIS IS A GREAT PRODUCT! I WOULD RECOMMEND IT HIGHLY. IT IS EASY TO ASSEMBLE AND EASY TO CLEAN.

Sturdy

This little food mill come with three interchangeable blades for differing textures. The feet extend so latching on to a bowl/pot is very easy. The crank is easy to turn. This is a little workhorse for the price and I love it.
