Have not had used the meat pound yet, but the weight of it along with the grip seem like a piece I will enjoy using.

The meat pounder was a gift for my mother, she just used it on Memorial Day for the pork chops she made and she said it worked just great and was one of the best ones she ever had. She just loved it.
