Grain mill attachment is compatible with all stand mixers from KitchenAid
Knob on the side of the unit allows you to select from fine to coarse grinds with ease
It didn't grind as thoroughly as I'd hoped--I have to grind the same wheat at least twice to get fine enough flour to make bread with. On the upside, it's easy to clean, and is a LOT smaller than most wheat grinders. If you have a kitchenaid, and are fanatic about making bread, it's worth considering.
This is the first attachment I've used with my KitchenAid, and the first grain mill I've used but I found the whole setup to work very well. I'm pleased with the heavy solid design of this product, and satisfied with its performance.

Coolest KitchenAid Attachment yet
This is not my first kitchen aid attachment, but it's definetely the coolest. I bought it so I could start making my own gluten free flour. Just put the rice in the hopper, turn the mixer on High. and Viola, you have rice flour.
I read quite a few reviews of this before I bought it...and they were pretty accurate. For milling hard stuff like black beans (which is primarily what I got it for), round one on coarse, round two on fine...just monitor how warm the motor gets, and be good to it, and it will be good to you.
I've used my mill 3 times now and it works well. I've used the flour for breads. Best bread, I've ever ate. Used 100% whole wheat with no problems. Mill grinds fine to coarse as it says. Construction is Kitchen Aid tough. A little noisy. It makes my mixer work but grinds quickly. I love it. This is my first mill. I would have rated it higher but have nothing to compare it to. For the price I couldn't imagine getting anything that will be as tough and lasting as this mill.
