The product is a preferential one. Someone I knew liked the concept, so I bought it for a gift.
I have two practical feedback comments.
    1) the cork stoppers are unwashable. They will deteriorate soon after being soaked in oil and vinegar. Not from the fill levels, but from recorking after use.

    2) The glass is fragile and there is not a wide enough base. The unit is often inadvertantly tipped and falls over. Breakable, spillable, both of which will be exacerbated after those cork stoppers wear out.

I too, like the concept and don't want to see the product disappear, but some improvements could be made.

    I recommend this product.

  • Glass is very thin and fragile

I purchased three of these cruets - one for myself, and 2 to give as Christmas presents. I filled it as pictured and it looked lovely on the table. However, when I went to refill the oil (it doesn't hold very much), I pushed down on the cork and the glass broke and it drove a razor sharp shard deep into my index finger. I had used this product at a local restaurant so I assumed that it was well constructed, so you can imagine my shock when I hurt myself so badly after only a few uses. I don't know if this particular bottle's glass was just a fluke thing, but I wouldn't recommend this product.

  • oil and vinigar holder

I was displeased because it looked like a nice size on line but when it came it was about 4 or 5in. tall it was just very very small.

  • Decorative, functional, fragile

****The Good: The cruet is a good size, not to small and not too large. It's very pretty, and I have not had any problems with the oil and vinegar leaking into each other. It looks really nice on my kitchen counter! ****The Bad: The glass is quite thin, so there is a chance of easily breaking it if you happen to set it down too hard. However, it is hand-blown glass, so it is supposed to be fragile I suppose. Just be careful!

    I recommend this product.

  • You get what you pay for...

I'd seen some other oil/vinegar cruets that were selling at much higher prices, and I'd say the low price for this one is indicative of the quality.

When my cruet arrived, when I picked up the box from the curb, I could hear right away that it was broken inside. The packaging material was all intact, so I can't place blame there. I cut the styrofoam container open just to be sure, and the cruet was indeed in several pieces. So I called Cooking.com, and to their credit, they were very courteous and responsive, and they sent a new one out right away.

The new one arrived, this time with the styrofoam container wrapped in bubble wrap, and it was in much better shape than the previous one. I filled it with oil and vinegar, and everything seemed to be working well, until I tried to pour some vinegar. As I tilted the cruet, the vinegar ran through a crack inside the spout into the oil, obviously defeating the purpose. I don't know if this was from shipping or just a defect in manufacturing, but I didn't really care. I called Cooking.com again, and they offered to replace it again, but at this point I'd had enough, and just asked them for a refund. Again, they were great, so I don't fault them at all.

In my opinion, even at $15, this cruet isn't worth it.

  • Prettiest but least expensive

Having seen a cruet that combined oil and vinegar in one piece, I searched for similar items to give as Christmas gifts. I bought three different models--this one and two others. The others cost $50 and $60 each. When loaded with oil and vinegar and compared side-by-side, the grape design cruets from you were the prettiest. Functionally, there was no difference.

    I recommend this product.

  • Good value. Great decoration for the kitchen.

Only complaint: the balsamic area is a bit small. Overall, love this cruet. Don't waste your money buying a more expensive one. Gave this as a present and the person loved it, too. Don't expect it to be huge. It stands around 9 inches tall with the spout.
