I loved the pie board, I purchased it as a wedding gift for my niece and she thought it was wonderful.I was distressed when I was shopping at WalMart later and found I could have purchased it for far less than what I had spent!

The pie board was flawed and had fairly deep indentations where it hadn't been buffed out enough (like deep scratches made by a work tool). I realize wood is imperfect, however, this was workmanship not natural wood imperfections. Rolling pin had a large gap between handle and rolling pin part on one side where food could get caught and it would be hard to clean in between & keep clean in that area. I was highly disappointed for the cost versus quality of these items. The only thing that was perfect was the pie plate. I'm sure there are quality guidelines that this company is supposed to follow - there are at the company I work for.

Just the looks of the pie dish when I took it out of the box was classy. It was easy making a apple pie using this dish it came out perfect. The dish gave it a great presentation
