Love My Garbage Bowl

I love this bowl. Although, I received flax from my family, "You can use any bowl for a garbage bowl", however, they love the results of the food, but think I'm crazy for using this as a garbage bowl. It will have many functions, just to keep the natives quiet.

I'm not sure what expectations there are for a garbage bowl other than to sit there and collect garbage but it does that very well! The non-skid bottom prevents it from sliding all over my granite counter tops and it is very sturdy. Oh and it's stylish, too. The words "nice garbage bowl!" have been uttered in my kitchen many times since I got my own Rachel Ray GB.

Garbage! This is a perfect salad bowl!

I can't wait to use this for a salad bowl this summer when we have lots of friends visiting us. I can picture the colors of the salad greens, tomatoes, red onion, shredded carrots, black olives, snap peas sitting in this bowl that has all the same colors as the bowl!

Overall I love the bowl. The color is great but the size is a bit smaller than I expected. I have made many Rachael Ray purchases and have been very satisfied with each of them. Keep up the good work!

I think overall this is a great bowl well designed and looks great. I find it a bit expensive...if I had not had the free shipping I would have probably passed. It is attractive enough to leave on the counter. Right now it has homemade soup in it. 4 quarts is a perfect size. Jan Callens

By having a bowl of Red or of color helps everyone who comes into my kitchen while meal preperations it gives them the sense of what is being done and it is not something to eat from. It helps clean up and makes it so easy one fell swoop! Love it. will purchase more for gifts.

Found this bowl to be exactly what I wanted. It's durable and the non skid bottom keeps it in place. Kitchen cleanup is a breeze.

I have used this product several times and I enjoy using it. I throw everyting in it and I don't have to worry about things dripping when I transport it the trash. The bowl is very convient and handy.

Thought it would be bigger

I just thought it would be bigger. I have mixing bowls that are larger that I could have used.

Rachael's Bowl

This bowl is fabulous. Very sturdy, cleans up well, and can be used for many things besides garbage!

The bowl was larger than I expected it to be so I don't have to worry about it filling up too quickly. It also has a non-slip bottom which is nice. I am very happy with this purchase.

Red Garbage Bowl

I cannot believe I'm saying that I "love" a garbage bowl, but I do! The color is pleasing, it has a high profile, which keeps the food scraps hidden until discarded, it's lightweight, and the non-slip ring on the bottom works well. We compost year-round, and this bowl is great for those once-a-day trips out behind the garden. A very good product, but the price point seems a little high ($15 seems about right).

Will enjoy this product

I'm very excited to use this product, it just came in the mail. Many people think I'm crazy for having a specific bowl for a garbage bowl (technically I could use any bowl), but I like the thought of having a designated bowl just for that. Plus it has gripping on the bottom so it doesn't slide from your table. My only suggestion with this item is that I wish it was a bit heavier (better quality). It just seems so much lighter than I thought it would be. Good for the price though.

Thank you for "updating" my kitchen one utensil at a time. I am enjoying the rocker knife, it is a joy to use, I have rheumatoid arthritis in my hands and the rocker knife makes it easier to do all my cutting, mincing, etc., work. The garbage bowl is something I've wanted for a long time, and it was well worth the time it took me to make the purchase, now I save myself a lot of steps to the garbage can. The crispy sheet is pure heaven, it cleans so easy, and all of your products are the absolute best quality out there. I plan to buy many items from your line of products, because they are of good design and quality. I am a retired caterer, and have been enjoying cooking over 40 years.

Great Product

What a great product! After reading some of the other unhappy reviews I was a little anxious about the bowl, but it arrived in good shape and I have already used it. I hadn't realized how much time I was wasting by trotting back and forth to the trash bin, but this bowl is already making a difference. The sale price made it well worth the money, and I would recommend this product to anyone.

The garbage bowl is a beautiful green color and more than I expected. I love it. I bought two, one for myself and one for my daughter's birthday who adores Rachael.

The color is beautiful! The speckles goes great with granite counter tops. Its heavy so you don't knock it over. I bought one for me and all my friends! GREAT product!!!

I find this product a time saver It saves on footsteps,clean ups and is diah washer safe.

Love the new color. I feel somewhat silly have spent years running back and forth to the garbage can or dragging the can to wherever I was peeling/ chopping. Now the garbage bowl is a food prep essential!

I love this bowl this is my second one I liked the first one so well when this beautiful green one came out I just had to have it. I decided that my daughter and daughter-in-law needed them also. I can't wait for their birthdays to see the look on their faces.
