Great tea-kettle. Wish it was just a little larger,but since I spent excessive amount of time looking for a kettle without whistle,this is o.k.

Beautiful color, well made. Heavy for these arthritic hands, No whistle so need to stay in room, small size is good for single person or two. (Not for crowds.) Find putting handles up and down all the time a bit of a pain. But it looks awesome and clearly will last with minimal care.

Have used the tea kettle daily for approximately one month, it functions perfectly. Well designed and pours without dripping! Handles remain cool to the touch and rotate smoothly on the cast posts. Beautiful color. Quality through and through. Absolutely perfect!

I purchased this item strictly for its aesthetic value. On that score I am very pleased. Therefore, I can overlook the fact that it is heavy, does not function as a "modern (whistling) " kettle, nor hold much water. If you are looking for a thing of beauty to sit out on your cook top every day, and is a reminder of bygone days, this is your kettle.
