The Cuisinart 90-g. Grind Central Coffee Grinder is a great way to make the most of your favorite roasted coffee beans. The grinder delivers the full power of a 175-watt heavy-duty motor, easily grinding through even the toughest of prepared coffee beans. Stainless steel blades make short work of beans, delivering fresh ground coffee in moments. Measurement markings on each coffee grinder allow you to easily select the exact number of cups for your morning brew or afternoon pick me up, and the unit can hold enough beans for a full 18 cups worth of coffee. The stylish design makes it at home in almost any kitchen, and the storage lid keeps your beans fresh for the next morning's cup. A safety interlock prevents accidental operation, locking the blade in place until the lid is fully secure, and integrated cord storage lets you tuck the power cord away when the unit is not in use.
Best Used For:
Use the coffee grinder to prepare a variety of different beans for regular coffee, espresso and mixed drinks. The grinder gives you total control over your bean selection, allowing you to create your own house blends or mix and match specific varieties to duplicate drinks from your favorite shops and cafes.
The Cuisinart Brushed Stainless Grind Central Coffee Grinder is an attractive complement to the Cuisinart Coffee maker which we have and love. The plastic top allows us to refrigerate any extra grounds coffee,The grinder looks great on the counter, but is noisier, and grinds coarser than our discount store plastic grinder.
My favorite part of this grinder- QUIET! Second, it is not as messy as some more expensive grinders that I have tried and owned. The grinds stay contained in the grinding cup. For the price, it is a great value and looks great.
It just doesn't work very well - does a poor job of grinding coffee beans - there are always big hunks of coffee beans in the grind. It does looks great on the kitchen counter. The motor is now making funny sounds and has an very odd burnt smell after 10 days of use. My old grinder from 2002 worked better than this.
I was looking for a coffee grinder with a larger grinding capacity than the one I have. This product certainly fulfills that requirement, but the extra features beyond that make this product a real winner. It is quieter than any coffee grinder I have ever used, has a removable grinding cup for easy transfer to your coffee pot (reducing the chance of making a mess), a storage lid for the removable cup, and a cord storage feature. The cord storage is hard to work since it involves manually pushing the cord into the back of the unit, but is worth the trouble to have the cord out of the way. The grinder is also small enough and attractive enough to leave out on the counter between uses. Overall, I give this device high marks.
