Software Engineer

Cooking.com currently has a great opportunity for a Software Engineer who will be responsible for the design, implementation and ongoing maintenance of Cooking.com web properties and internal applications! This position requires involvement from product backlog definition to deployment in an Agile development environment.
In addition, this individual will be responsible for the development and enhancement of Cooking.com web properties. This position will be responsible for the technical implementation and associated development tasks required for site deployment as well as internal business applications.
As the leading online marketplace for the kitchen, Cooking.com operates its own site and 20+ uniquely branded websites for leading brands in the food and cooking space.

PRIMARY DUTIES:
- Work in an Agile Shop
- Participate in all phases of software development lifecycle
- Development using ASP.NET & C#
- Development of data models & OR mapping
- Development using Object-oriented Design and Analysis (OOA and OOD
- Write stored procedures, triggers, and perform general manipulations within SQL Server
- Unit test development
- Support, maintain and document software functionality
- Integrate software with existing systems
- Evaluate and identify new technologies for implementation
Required Education and Experience:
- BS degree in Computer Science or Information Systems with outstanding academic credentials
Required Skills and Experience:
- 2+ years of software development experience with product full lifecycle. Application development using Microsoft based technologies.
- 2+ years of web development experience using ASP.NET & C#. MVC ORM Coding Framework desireable.
- 2+ years of SQL-Server with any OR mapping infrastructure.
- 1+ years developing software in an Agile software development environment using either XP or Scrum.
- Authorization to work in the United States for any employer
