Position: Developer Intern
Goal of the Position: This position is designed to provide an entry-level opportunity within the Technology team. It is expected that this person will learn various aspects of how Tech supports the business. The tasks assigned will provide some exposure to other departments within the company. The person will be expected to develop their programming skills and take on larger scoped projects given the appropriate time.
Initial Responsibilities:
- Support our Merchant Extranet Environment implementing new Merchants
- Support Existing Backend programs for different departments
- Learn EDI as part of the Merchant Implementation support
- Learn how to write SQL stored procedures.
- Learn VB and ASP by supporting smaller programs written in there programming languages.
- Assist with re-writing majority of interface programs to support the new site.
Languages:
- ASP, VBscript, C#, Java, ASP.Net, Visual Basic 6
Must have a legal right to work in the US.
