Great Product, alot of features.

This calculator is a great product for anyone that works in a professional kitchen, especially if you do alot of converting. It's also good for just in a home kitchen if you are increasing a recipe. It does alot, it can convert temperatures and the various weights, it has a timer, it's just a plain old calculator, and it can adjust recipes(such as portion size and recipe yeilds, etc.). One thing i wish it could do (anyone who works in a kitchen will obviously know why this cannot work), is convert say pounds of flour into cups. But it cannot do this because a cup of flour and a cup of water have different weights. You can only convert pounds into dry ounces, but thats ok. It also has this clear cover that you put over the whole calculator to keep it from getting messy, very good idea they know their customers :).
This is a good product and i would encourage anyone that does alot of work with recipes to get it.

cool gadget

This is the best gadget yet for the kitchen. I'm alway trying to reconfigure recipes for larger amounts and having to get out the paper and pencil to figure it out and now all I have to do is punch in the numbers and get my answer. You do have to read the instructions fully to get the jest of how to use but once you do you'll use it all the time.

Nice tool

The Kitchen Calculator is a nice tool for converting recipes. Although that's the reason I purchased it, it looks like it has a lot of other nice features. Not complicated to figure out too.

Handy Gadget

This is a great product. I've used it to proportion several recipes with great success. The timer feature is handy if you want to leave the immediate area where you can hear your primary timer: just slip the kitchen calculator in your pocket and go to the basement, do yard work, etc.

This calc is fabulous, now if my garden will produce in great quanities I will be able to put the calc to much use in my canning production!

This calculator fits easily into a knife bag or kitchen drawer and I love the protective hard case cover. Learning how to use it for scaling recipes was simple even for a math callenged individual like me!

This was purchased for my son who is enrolled in Culiniary School. He says it will help make his training easier.

I was thrilled to find this little tool. I do recipe costing at a restaurant and wish I had realized this existed sooner!

Actually wanted the larger model but was out of stock. Now I'm glad I ordered the handheld size instead.

I bought one of these to see if it would really make changing recipes easier. I just love it! You can take a recipe for 4 and change it to feed 7 or 12 or 50, so fast and easy. You can also change recipes that feed 50 to feed 2 or 4 just as easy. I loved this product so much that I bought a second one for a friend. He loves it as much as I do.

I bought this tool for my wife. She's been cooking for the both of us for over 40 years. She is comfortable with her methods. She is not impressed by this gadget. Were she a new cook just starting out, or a once-in-a-while cook like me, this might have some useful application. But because she isn't, and has a thorough grasp of how to put together a recipe, either from her head or by consulting a cook book, this tool has no useful application on a day to day basis. This item might be useful in a test kitchen or in some other non-daily activity. But it isn't going to become a part of my wife's chef's tools, I'm sorry to say.

Good tool to have in the kitchen, whether a cook or a baker.

Now that I am cooking only or myself, I was wasting so much food. I would get tired of eating one dish for 4 days, just to get rid of it. This calculator has been great to convert my standard, go-to recipes to smaller proportions and still taste great.

I do wish that it covered metric change, because i use a lot of foriegn cook books and have a time converting them.

I've got enough to think about in the kitchen without trying to convert one measurement to another. This saves me a ton of trouble (or, two thousand pounds of trouble)
