The BBQ Guys Merchant Information
1. Shipping Policies
Orders can not be shipped to PO Boxes. All shipments, unless specifically denoted, are curbside shipments. It is the customer's responsibility to inform us of any problems with this type of delivery at the time of purchase. BBQ Guys is not responsible for shipping costs on merchandise not delivered due to a shipping company's inability to deliver to a particular location. Certain circumstances may include but are not limited to: narrow or winding roads, dirt or gravel roads, and vacant establishments. In home delivery is neither implied nor offered without additional charge, and is not necessarily available even if the customer is willing to pay more for it.
We use UPS or FedEx for smaller items, and larger items go freight. We reserve the right to choose which freight company carries your shipment. We do not, however, control the shipping companies (freight or UPS). Once a shipment is in the hands of the delivery company, we cannot change shipping addresses, we cannot make a delivery happen on a certain day, and we can only approximate delivery times. Please open the package upon receipt, before the driver leaves and inspect for damages. If you discover damage upon opening the box, call us right away! If you do not inspect your shipment for damages right away, we cannot be held responsible for the damages later. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQ Guys can not be held responsible for damages that may occur during delivery. If you live in a large metropolitan area, difficulty in shipping may increase shipping prices. We will notify you before any additional charges are made if this is the case. Our in-stock orders will probably take about 7-14 business days to reach a customer. We ship to continental U.S. locations only.
2. Sales Tax Information
We are required to charge tax on purchases made from Louisiana. The sales tax rate is 4 percent for Louisiana. This amount will be added to your merchandise total and reflected on your credit card charge. We do not collect sales tax on orders shipped outside of Louisiana!
3. Returns & Exchanges
You can return any product within 30 days from date of shipment, EXCEPT: Items that have been installed or used in any manner, or items that are special order such as custom color (i.e.: outdoor kitchens, color ranges, etc.). We do not accept returns on opened software, opened music, or opened movies; these items can only be exchanged for a replacement of the same item if the original item is defective.
On any return, the customer is responsible for shipping charges from us to the customer and again from the customer back to us. All returned items will be subject to shipping fees to and from the customer, regardless of whether shipping was originally charged or not. If we sold or shipped you the wrong item, we will refund your entire amount. All returns require previous communication with Shopperschoice.com. Please do not ship items back without proper approval. Items must be returned prepaid in re-sellable condition with all documentation, hoses, etc.
Contact us to schedule a return and check back with us several days after you have shipped it. We will not be held responsible for a refund if the customer does not make a follow up call. If an item is received damaged, or if we sent the wrong item to you, we apologize. We will be happy to pay for the return shipping, and we will get the correct item to you at no extra cost.
4. About The BBQ Guys
BBQ Guys opened in 1998. After starting up 3 storefronts, we decided to organize a website for ourselves in 2000. At first this was only going to be used as a resource for local customers, but we then found out that it generated a large amount of traffic across the country.
We then realized the potential of BBQ Guys as an e-commerce site. Along with the initial site, BBQ Guys team launched 70 more sites. At first we started out just selling BBQ grills and outdoor accessories associated with grilling. Once we started to expand our company we then added merchandise such as pool tables, hot tubs, go carts, etc. We feel anything associated with BBQ's and outdoor cooking should be available to our customers through BBQ Guys. Since then our revenue growth has been 150% a year for 3 straight years.
5. Privacy and Security
As for personal information, we will not give any information you confide in us to any other companies without first receiving consent from you. We realize that your personal information is given to us for purchasing and shipping reasons only, and we respect that.
Item Info and Pricing
BBQ Guys reserves the right to change item pricing or information at any time. As a result, prices on our website may not be accurate. If an item is ordered off of the Internet before we have updated our prices, the purchaser will be notified and given the option to cancel or pay the difference. If the price of an item is lowered after a purchase is made, BBQ Guys will not refund the difference to the customer.
