I saw Trisha Yearwood on "The View" and she had samples of her food for the ladies. They all looked great. I went on line and was able to get a couple of the recipes, but could not find all of them, so I found the cookbooks for sale at Cooking.com and ordered them. I was extremely surprised and pleased at the price. They are MORE than worth the price.

However for someone else the book would be great.

I also like to read the stories associated with the recipe and how it came about in her family. It makes it more special. I knew that the book was going to be good as I watch her program on TV, but I didn't realize just how special it was going to be until I tried a few of the recipes. thank you Trisha for the down home recipes and for a look into your family.
