A little pricey but when you cant find a product in your town, you expand to the internet. I had a similar product before and was very pleased with what it produced. I don't know what to think of the concave bottom (that keeps the marinade on the edges of the meet) as the last vacuum thing was flat,(meet soaked in it during the vacuuming process). I would buy a flat bottom one before I would buy this one. I still think its a good investment for the meat lover.

Awesome marinator

Works! What can I say, it works as advertised. I have left my meat in the same marinade overnite and with this marinator for only 30 minutes and achieved the same outstanding flavor.

Improved All Dinners

The Instant Marinator is amazing! It's hard to believe that it makes such a noticable difference in everyday meals, however it DOES! I bought it for my boyfriend who loves to grill. He used it the first day we got it and we've been using it to marinate everything since. The meat comes out so juicy and full of flavor. The best part is, you can create your own marinades and they are obsorbed wonderfully into the food.
As much as I want to recommend it to others, I'm a little hesitant to give away my secret ;)

When I received my vacuvan and 3 others, three of the four did not have the necessary gasket to seal the container. My only complaint is that I spent a great deal of time getting the phone number for the United States company. Once I did get in touch with them, they were courteous and send four gaskets which arrived before Christmas. All is well, that ends well. Its a great product and worth the extra time I took to insure it would work.

this appliance is good for marinating but you have to be careful not to pump too much air out and cause the deflate to not work. There are no clear directions for use.
