If the largest canister had been the smallest canister it would have been much better-you couldn't put a full sack of sugar or flour in it at all

Yes | No Report Violation »First of all the color is not quite as bright red as it is shown in the picture here- it is a softer more burgundy-ish red (I think the picture of the matching butter dish is closer to the actual color). The lids have rubber rings to keep them air-tight, but you have to make sure no debris gets between the ring and the lip, or you won't have an air tight seal- a challenge with granulated sugar! Still, I love the look and the quality seems consistent and sturdy.

I only wish there were more than three in the set, as I'd love to have more of them. I'm very happy with my purchase and will happily recommend them to everyone.
