This book is very close to my heart. It’s about no-nonsense, simple cooking with great flavors all year round. When I began writing it, I didn’t really know what recipes I would come up with, but something began to inspire me very quickly . . . my vegetable patch!

I love to cook, love to garden, it's a number one book on my list. It is a wonderful gift for friends and family members and I love all the recipes I have made so far, and can't wait to try the others... Thanks Jamie!!!

All the side notes about how to grow things in the garden gives me hope that I can do it, even mushrooms. I hope Jamie keeps with this wholesome, organic theme for another season and another cookbook.

I love this series, and receiving the cookbook that includes the fabulous recipes, along with photos and commentary is wonderful! The gardening tips are an added bonus!

I have loved Jamie's recipes for a long time and then with his recent show American Revolution, he got me excited to start cooking healthy again. This book is full of pictures and tips and stories. It's not your average cookbook.
