The Clear Solutions Jumbo Cookbook Holder offers an innovative solution to some age-old kitchen problems. If you've always struggled with keeping your cookbook open to the proper page, you'll appreciate this product. A series of slats in the base provide support for cookbooks and magazines of varying thicknesses. Use the slats nearest you for thin magazines, and reserve the slats farthest from you for cookbooks with hundreds of pages. This holder positions the cookbook upright, so you can easily glance at your recipe while you're stirring and chopping. An acrylic cover holds the book open to the proper page. The acrylic cover also keeps liquids and other ingredients from splashing onto your book, so you'll be able to read your favorite recipes after repeated use. The hinges on the base of the cover let you lift it briefly to turn the pages of your cookbook. You'll be able to flip to the next page or go to a completely different recipe in your cookbook without removing the cookbook from the holder. Keeping the cookbook holder clean is easy: simply wipe it down with a damp paper towel after every use. Fold the holder flat to store it conveniently alongside your cookbooks.

Features:

  • Holds cookbooks and magazines upright, so you can refer to them easily while you're cooking
  • Acrylic cover holds the book open to your desired page
  • Acrylic guard protects your valuable cookbooks from splashes and stains
  • Adjusts to accommodate books and magazines of varying thicknesses
  • Stores flat on a bookshelf or in a cupboard

  • Fabulous!

This cookbook holder is fabulous. Not only is it well made, it accommodates single sheets of paper as well as very large cookbooks while protecting the paper from food splatters.

It is very easy to use and stores easily in my cabinet.

    I recommend this product.

  • If a/the purpose of a cookbook holder is to protect any cookbook of any reasonable size, then this is the only one on the Net that fits the bill. I looked.

Whoever designed it thought of everything and tried it out. My wife and I were both pleased with how easy it is to use, how well-designed. Especially the flip-forward hinged front piece, which makes page turning easy. Easy to set up, easy to stow on the book shelf.

One review carped about $30 being a lot of money for two pieces of plastic and a piece of wood. Worth it. Highly functional, simple and attractive.

    I recommend this product.

  • Love it!

After years of dripping on my cookbooks and leaving stains, I got fed up. I researched several different types of cookbook holders and decided to give this one a try. It holds thin magazines, thick cookbooks, even my 3-ring binder books from Weight Watchers. It supports items at a great angle making it so much easier to read the recipes. The acrylic guard keeps the pages clean and and in place - no more having to try to hold down the page of interest to keep it from flipping. And when I'm done, I simply fold it up and store it in one of my drawers. I can't believe I waited to so long to get this!

    I recommend this product.

  • BEST COOKBOK HOLDER I'VE HAD.

THIS IS A GREAT COOKBOOK HOLDER.!
i ALMOST DIDN'T BUY IT BECAUSE OF THE PRICE BUT I DECIDED TO TRY IT. I'M SO GALD THAT I DECIDED TO GET IT.
THE BASE IS VERY STURDY AND IT IS LARGE, JUST LIKE THEY SAID IT WAS. THE PLEXIGLASS FRONT PIECE TIPS FORWARD TO ALLOW FOR EASY PLACEMENT TO ANY SIZE COOKBOOK... AND I HAVE SOME VERY LARGE ONES!
THE SMALLER PLEXIGLASS PIECE, HOLDS THE BOOKS IN PLACE AND IS ADJUSTABLE TO A VARITEY OF SIZED FOR THE DIFFERENT COOKBOOKS. MY HUSBAND WAS IMPRESSED BY THE WOOD BASE AND THE CONSTRUCTION OF IT. SINCERELY, LINDA

    I recommend this product.

This cookbook holder is perfect for me. It accomodates most any size cookbook. It keeps the book open so I can easily see the recipe. It protects the cookbook pages from splashes and splatters. And it folds up so that it can be easily stored. What more could you want in a cookbook holder?

  • The best cookbook holder I ever had

As my title explains, this is not my first cookbook holder, but I am confident it will be my last. It is sturdy and holds books of all sizes securely. I have a small kitchen and anything that takes up 'real estate' must be worthy--and this item is. It comes in a nice presentation box for gift giving as well.

    I recommend this product.

  • I've had this item on my wish list for quite some time, when I saw there was free shipping on it ,
decided to order it. This is a very nice cookbook holder. I can finally have my cookbook or recipe
where I can easily read them. I loved the fact that it was made in the USA. This is well made and I am glad I made the purchase.

  • Jumbo Cookbook Holder

I really like this product because it is big enough and sturdy enough to hold an entire cookbook; it doesn't take up extra space( that I don't have) to lay the book out on the counter; and, that it folds flat for storage.

    I recommend this product.

  • So glad I bought this cookbook holder

I wanted a cookbook holder that would:
    1) hold both thin magazines and thick cookbooks of all sizes
    2) offer protection from splatters
    3) store easily and compactly
    4) be attractive
    5) be well constructed of quality materials
    6) hopefully be made in the USA

This item met all of those needs. It is a bit pricey, but I don't expect to be replacing it in my lifetime. Highly recommend.

P.S. My husband even raved about it. I'd left a "Cooks Illustrated" magazine open to a recipe that I wanted him to finish and begin cooking in the oven; he loved that it was upright and easy to read, instead of lying flat on the counter. It also reminded him to not forget about it since it was so obvious standing on the counter. :)

    I recommend this product.

  • The Best Cookbook Holder

My husband, the chef in our family, was given a cookbook holder like this last year by our son and daughter-in-law. We bought this one for our daughter. It is the best! It holds any size cookbook or magazine, it positions them at a good angle for reading and it keeps them clean.

  • The holder is perfect for the recipes that I have collected over the years in a 3-ring binder. Most of my recipes are in books or binders with a few on recipe cards. The recipe cards are a little difficult to get to stay, but I put them in front of one of the large books and problem solved. I bought one for myself and one for my Mother. We both love it.

  • big and efficient...

This jumbo cookbook holder is exactly what it says....it holds the large cookbooks as well as small recipe booklets and magazines. I have it standing on my counter all the time, and have all the recipes I've picked out to cook in the order I cook them. I was going to buy the smaller one of this brand, and decided for the price that I'd rather have a larger one in case the smaller one doesn't hold those big oversized cookbooks. I am happy with my purchase and recommend this jumbo cookbook holder. You won't be disappointed.

  • None can compare

I've been a cook for years. Love to cook and never thought about getting a cookbook stand as it never crossed my mind. But saw one at Barnes and Nobles (another one) and thought I'd do some checking out reviews and came across this one with so many high ratings. When I saw it could hold a single piece of paper or a jumbo cookbook and the front is hinged so I could easily turn the page, I was sold. I have used it and absolutely love it - it does everything it is supposed to do. For Xmas, I had my recipe papers and books lined up on the stand to cook and the last two things I made, I had the recipes side by side which was immensely helpful. It also was great looking straight at the recipes instead of down on the counter where it also takes up room. It's jumbo and well worth it. Buy it, buy one for your friend at the same time!

I bought this, because other reviewers were saying that it fits a thin piece of paper or a thick cookbook. It does do this, holds either thickness tight. You can turn the page portrait or landscape and it will hold it secure. You can also move the back piece to give the book or w/e, more of a slanted angle (except, a thick cookbook). The front plastic (which I need, half my cookbook pages are stuck together from me splashing them) cleans easy and drops down so that you may flip the page. It folds down to 1" thick. My sister spotted it and seemed to like it, so I got one for her also. I am very happy with this purchase. Very, very happy.

  • Holds other books besides cookbooks

I got this cook book holder to hold my computer books. They are thick and heavy paperback books that always close when being used. I used to put them in a drawer with something wedged on them to keep them open. Not the best position for using them. Now I can put them in the holder and they are at eye level. I keep it on my desk where I can read and follow instructions easily. The cookbook holder is very well made and sturdy. It is adjustable to hold the thickest book. It is a great product!

  • Good, versatile, b i g, cookbook holder

This has a large piece of grooved wood in which you insert a smaller piece of plastic which forms the backrest for the cookbook. Multiple grooves to accomodate multiple sized books. In front of this is an attached large piece of clear plastic that is hinged on the bottom so it folds forward (allowing you to turn pages) and protects the book. All great until you go to put it away. There's no place to put the smaller piece of loose plastic; it just sort of slides around, falls or slips out as it isn't as wide as the hinged front piece. I find this irritating and annoying. OTHER THAN THAT, it's great!

    I recommend this product.
