The Clear Solutions Jumbo Cookbook Holder offers an innovative solution to some age-old kitchen problems. If you've always struggled with keeping your cookbook open to the proper page, you'll appreciate this product. A series of slats in the base provide support for cookbooks and magazines of varying thicknesses. Use the slats nearest you for thin magazines, and reserve the slats farthest from you for cookbooks with hundreds of pages. This holder positions the cookbook upright, so you can easily glance at your recipe while you're stirring and chopping. An acrylic cover holds the book open to the proper page. The acrylic cover also keeps liquids and other ingredients from splashing onto your book, so you'll be able to read your favorite recipes after repeated use. The hinges on the base of the cover let you lift it briefly to turn the pages of your cookbook. You'll be able to flip to the next page or go to a completely different recipe in your cookbook without removing the cookbook from the holder. Keeping the cookbook holder clean is easy: simply wipe it down with a damp paper towel after every use. Fold the holder flat to store it conveniently alongside your cookbooks.

If a/the purpose of a cookbook holder is to protect any cookbook of any reasonable size, then this is the only one on the Net that fits the bill. I looked.
Whoever designed it thought of everything and tried it out. My wife and I were both pleased with how easy it is to use, how well-designed. Especially the flip-forward hinged front piece, which makes page turning easy. Easy to set up, easy to stow on the book shelf.
One review carped about $30 being a lot of money for two pieces of plastic and a piece of wood. Worth it. Highly functional, simple and attractive.
I am an artist and I purchased the Jumbo Cookbook holder to enable me to have my various sized reference books propped at the proper angle so I could not only utilize them but protect them at the same time. It has provided the perfect solution for a pesky problem. The easy flip down front cover makes it a snap to turn pages. It works for me. I give it five stars.
Great cookbook holder that will support my largest, thickest cookbooks without a problem. Also, the significant shield/covers keeps all of my pages clean. On top of that, the cherry wood also smells lovely! It folds up flat for easy storage.
My wife got this cookbook holder for Christmas. She loves it. The holder is adaptable to all of her books and she loves the splatter screen that covers the books. She wanted this one because it was the highest rated cookbook holder in some of her magazines. She recommends it.
I love to cook, but I am really messy with my cookbooks. I never had a place to put them before except on the table. I sell Pampered Chef, and since I use those cookbooks the most, the are the messiest. I get a little embarrased when I take them to shows and they are messy (I guess they can tell I cook out of them). My kids got this cookbook holder for me for Christmas and I love it. It is wide enough to hold my cookbooks, I can put the back holder all the way to the back for thicker cookbooks or up to the front for smaller ones. Also, if you need to turn the page, the front cover is on hinges so its no trouble at all. Now I can take my cookbooks to my shows with NO MORE MESSES. Thanks for making a pampered chef a clean chef.
I have spent the better part of a year looking for a good cookbook holder--one that protects the book well, is easy to get behind to turn book pages, suits books of various sizes, and is able to be stored in as little space as possible. This cookbook holder delivers, on every count, and I love it. I was not, admittedly, sure how to answer the
I have had a cookboof holder on my Christmas lists for years but never got one. So I found this one and bought it for myself. I am very pleased. It is rather large, but in turn is able to accomodate even the largest of cookbooks. And it folds down flat for easy storage so it doesn't really take up much space. It can accomodate even one sheet of paper with a recipe on it because it adjusts for a variety of thicknesses. Also the front is washable and protects the pages of your cookbooks.
I have never had one of these in my 40 years of cooking until recently when I bought a cookbook that I wanted to use daily for meal preparation. I wanted to have the book out on the counter all the time and this holder did the trick. It is nice looking, functional, and reasonably priced. I recommend it whole heartedly! Here's to healthy cooking & eating!
I searched the internet fairly extensively for a cookbook holder and looked at a few stores here locally after my wife asked for one for her birthday. She is a very avid cook with several hundred cookbooks and notebooks filled with printed recipes.
It works as advertised and described by all who reviewed it.
The best feature is that it will hold pretty much any size book and most importantly (with our house) a sheet of paper.
It's extremely simple to use, looks great, stores flat and out of the way and for the price is an excellent value.
9.9 out of 10 (the color doesn't match our cabinets)
I am not using it as a Cookbook holder in the kitchen. It is being used in my Home Office as a support for my daily business reports and easy access to my interim data.. Another task of eliminating clutter on the Desk Top.
But, it definitely is a must have for any kitchen to keep cookbooks from being soiled.
I've been looking for something that I can prop up my cookbook on or hang up my computer-printed recipe from. I like to keep the recipe out of the way, yet close enough to the workspace that I don't have to make extra steps. In years gone by I would attach the recipe to the refrigerator with a magnet - but I have a stainless steel refrigerator! This Cookbook holder is absolutely perfect! It's adjustable so that you can put a single page or a huge cookbook in it, and it's really no-hassle adjustment! It's also large enough to accomodate my
One of my bad habits (or you could call it multi-tasking - a good thing) is reading while I eat. This has saved many books from splotches of grease, tomato sauce etc. I hesitated for some time to buy it because I thought it a bit too pricey. Now that have it I am delighted I threw financial caution to the winds.
