Much improved product at a lower price!

I have owned a Cuisinart Stick Blender for some years and purchased this one as a gift for a friend. When I saw its improvements over my old Stick, I immediately bought myself a new one. Beside being less than half the price as the one I bought some years back, this one has a tronger motor (great for butternut squash soup), pop-out stem for easy washing and comes in fun, easy-to-find-in-the-drawer colors.

The immersion blender is a good value, made better by free shippiong.

Smart Stick

I bought this as a replacement.I was very pleased to discover that it fits the attachments that I have. I used it today to puree soup in the pot.

I already returned the product on May 1,2012 and you should receive it within a few days. The product did not live up to the expectations I had of it. It would not even blend frozen blueberries in a smoothie.

With the detachable head It's a quick wash up and your are ready for your next task. The best use is, at the end of a long day, you can break out the daiquiri mix, tequila and ice and enjoy the magic of this little wonder !!
