Much improved product at a lower price!

I have owned a Cuisinart Stick Blender for some years and purchased this one as a gift for a friend. When I saw its improvements over my old Stick, I immediately bought myself a new one. Beside being less than half the price as the one I bought some years back, this one has a tronger motor (great for butternut squash soup), pop-out stem for easy washing and comes in fun, easy-to-find-in-the-drawer colors.

The immersion blender is a good value, made better by free shippiong.

Smart Stick

I bought this as a replacement.I was very pleased to discover that it fits the attachments that I have. I used it today to puree soup in the pot.

I already returned the product on May 1,2012 and you should receive it within a few days. The product did not live up to the expectations I had of it. It would not even blend frozen blueberries in a smoothie.

With the detachable head It's a quick wash up and your are ready for your next task. Makes Cooking Fun!

I've wanted one of these for a long time, but couldn't justify the cost for the amount of time I'd use it -- now I don't have to! This one's affordable and stylish. Already used it twice last weekend - once to purée a roasted pepper to add body to a beef stew and again to whip up butternut squash. So much fun to use, extremely easy set-up and clean-up. I plan on using it more often, instead or reaching for the blender or beaters. Who knew it could still be fun to play with your food.

Yellow Magic Wand

I love this Stick Blender. I have a small kitchen and do not want to have a full size blender taking up my valuable, mini cabinet space. I THINK THIS PRODUCT IS IDEAL FOR FOLKS THAT MAKE LIQUID DRINKS--SMOOTHIES ETC,BUT NOT FOR REGULAR BLENDER RECIPSES.. I GAVE IT TO MY DAUGHTERWHO MAKES LIQUID DRINKS AND SOUPS. BUT TO MASH POTATOES,GRIND COOKIES FOR TOPPINGS OR TO MAKE BON-BONS- NOT WJHAT I NEED. I WILL STAY WITH MY OLD FASHIONED BLENDER. THE STYLE IS ATTRACTIVE AS WELL AS THE COLOR.

My chef friends could not believe I didn't have one of these. Now I know why. I prefer making most thing from scratch. I love using this for salsas. I make salsa several times a week. I used to use my blender when I was in a hurry. I prefered to chop everything because I don't like thin salsa. Now I use my hand blender. It is so much better. You have so much more control with the consistency. My daughter loves to make smoothies with this. We use it daily.

Super Smoothies

This little gem is perfect for making super smoothies! I recently had vocal cord surgery and can't eat solid food yet so I am thrilled to have a gadget that works well and cleans up easily, too. Now I don't have to use my blender every morning!

Looks great. Very nice. Easy to use and clean. The only thing is that I saw it on Amazon and it was about 15 dollars less.
