Customer Reviews

Very Nice!

by Rebecca, MA
April 7, 2011

I bought several of the Chantal bakeware items in lime green. I will post the same review for each. The color is fabulous! They clean up very nice and I am extremely happy with them. I have baked in them, transported food in them and even used them for serving dishes...they are that attractive!
My only issue was not with Cooking.com. They were shipped directly from the manufacturer and the box was not marked fragile. Inevitably I had one deep dish pie plate broken., Cooking.com replaced it immediately. It came, again, direct from the manufacturer but had brown spots in the glaze (under the label)...again it was replaced and this time it was good. I also had to return the classic pie dish because of a crack that was only visible when wet. That one is out of stock and must be refunded :( These issues are the reason I dropped one star.
I do hope to add to the collection in the future as I am overall very happy with the items and I did not have to pay to return the dish that was damaged. Cooking.com was phenomenal in how they handled each problem I had and I do love my new bakeware!!

For Grandpa's Recipe

by Michael, MO
August 7, 2010

I needed to replace a broken deep-dish pie pan so that I could bake one of my Grandpa's recipes. He was a baker in KC for over 40 years. He passed many of his recipes along to me and I try to use at least one of them a week.

I wanted something that was neutral in colour and that was sturdy. But, I didn't want to spend a fortune on the replacement piece as I have quite a collection of baking equipment.

This fit the bill perfectly.

And, Cooking.com, provided me with both excellent service and an excellent value for my money. I would buy another Chantal piece in the event I was in the market for one.

haven't used this yet, but foresee no problems. Quality appears to be there and it certainly will enhance the beauty of the desert table.

I was disappointed it doesn't have scalloped edges like the regular size version and the color is not as nice as the older Chantal pie dishes but still a nice product that will look better than my old tin versions for deep dish pies.

Blue Deep Pie Dish

by David, MI
December 31, 2012

This purchase was a Christmas gift for my daughter-in-law. The deep blue matches the other cook and bakeware in her kitchen. These pie dishes are a welcome addition to her collection.

Manufacture

by Kathleen, MI
March 21, 2013

Overall, this dish may work well. I have not used it yet. The real concern is that it was made in China. Even though it was stated on the label as lead free, I truly wish to buy products made in the USA. I should be more diligent as to where the products were made first when buying instead of just thinking they would automatically be made here and that's what your company would be promoting.
