overall sharpening

this is the best sharpener i have had. i had a diamond finger one from you that was very good but wore out. this sharpener way out performed it. i have and old knife that had trouble cutting butter, after using the sharpener it sliced through a tomato like it was butter.

Works as expected

A nice little sharpener for keeping the edge on your kitchen knives. My kitchen knives are carbon steel instead of stainless, but it works well on my stainless pocket knives. too. Don't recommend for a really dull blade. Get your dull blades sharp again with good stones or other means, then use this tool to keep them sharp. Very much worth the sale price.

This sharpener works very well with a little work and is very stable.I'm glad I baught it!

A must have in the kitchen!

I own a higher end Chef's Choice electric sharpener and absolutely love it. When I saw this I absolutely had to try it for less than $20. Once again, this won't disappoint. A convenient way to put that extra ooomph back on that edge in the middle of prep. Those electric units are the ultimate, but not the most convenient in the middle of preparation of a meal. This works just perfect and the handle is very comfortable and feels safe. They have two lower price hand held manual sharpeners similar to this, but the handles are inferior and dangerous for larger knives. This is the perfect size for the utility utensil drawer and can be used in a flash without all of the fuss with cords. Definitely recommend for all kitchens. Allen in Colorado
