  • Big blue pot

I ordered this pot to replace the one that I have on which the enamel was wearing. I was disappointed that the lid did not sit well on the pot, as if warped. I did not want to send it back so swapped the lid on the old one for the new one. Now I have a blue pot with a white lid, not the ideal but it will work.

    I recommend this product.

  • Marseille Blue round French oven 9 qts.

Conscious from the moment I started cooking the onions for my French onion soup that this is what makes cooking a great experience. This is The Rolls Royce, Lamborghini, Ferrarri of cooking implements, the caramelizing of the onions was not only superb it was painless, no nasty brown spots just the aroma and color of perfection. Was expecting it to be much heavier and pleasantly surprized that it was not. I've had a smaller one and will get the biggest one now also because the weight even full of stew or soup is just fine. No more "bargain" enameled cast iron, you get exactly what you paid for. Le Creuzet is definitely not cheap but I would pay even more for the joy of cooking with it, and with all the possibilities that cross your mind as you are doing so. Creme Anglaise, deep frying, bisques, rizotto, Osso Bucco, floating Islands, this is the most enjoyable time I've had cooking for a long time. In that list of types of cook you are, count me as " all of the above" and I cook for 2 to 150 without too much Difficulty, okay, there are leftover from meals for two!

    I recommend this product.

  • Wedding Shower Gift

I purschased a dutch oven for a wedding shower gift. I myself own most of the red collection and I basically only cook with Le Creuset as I loved these pans. I am more likely to purchase the pans when they go on sale and when there is an extra bonus.

    I recommend this product.
