Bought this b/c my prized kitchen possessions are my le C items. Works well. I'm still getting used to how strong i want it and how much water i want to use. I tried the suggestion of putting hot water in to warm it so that my coffee stays hotter longer and it works. If you're a le c fan this is a must have - it can sit out and look great.

Gave as a gift to my husband. He loves it.

I'm not a coffee drinker but I try to make sure my java-swilling husband has what he needs to make the kind of coffee he likes. He had never tried coffee from a French press before and I recently bought my first, second, third and fourth pieces of LeCreuset. I love my Dutch oven more than life itself so figured maybe he would feel the same about a LeCreuset French press. I was right. He says it is great coffee and he is sure the coffee is superb because the French press is superb.

Best French Press

Hands down the best French press I have used. I have used French presses for years and when I saw this one, a light went off and I thought why hasn't someone thought of this before. All other presses are thin glass (I suppose to look aesthetically pleasuring? But, it has no real purpose. The ceramic on this is thick and heavy, thus creating an insulating barrier and keeping your coffee hot for longer. I highly recommend this product for the serious coffee or tea presser.
