I absolutely love this coffee maker. I have one in my home, one in my office, and ordered this one for my current office overseas! It is hard to keep it full of hot coffee as other office routinely come and fill up their cups from my coffee pot saying it tastes so much better than theirs! :-)

Great Coffee Maker

We love this coffee maker, it makes great coffee and its easy to use it also beebs 5 times to let you know your coffee is done.

I like the temperature selection for the hotplate. Also appreciate the relative speed with which coffee is brewed.

Makes good tasting coffee

This makes great tasting coffee. I've used a Mr. Coffee pot in the past and the coffee always tasted burnt. I would buy this coffee pot as a gift for someone.

WONDERFUL COFFEE

Okay, I never would have guessed that coffee flavor would improve because I purchased this Cuisinart coffee maker. Guess what? I was wrong. We can't wait to wake up to fresh coffee everyday. From the first cup we tasted the difference between our old Hamilton Beach coffee maker and the brew from the Cuisinart. Talk about the difference between night and day! Bad, burned coffee

This coffee maker was one of the worst I have ever bought. After following directions on cleaning the pot/maker I made the first pot of coffee. It was very plastic-y tasting and so I thought it was just because the pot was new. Two pots of coffee later, it still had an awful, burned, plastic flavor for every cup. Wish they still made the old Braun we used. Ended up buying DeLonghi.

Great coffee maker

This is one of the best coffee makers we have had in years. It makes great coffee, pours without spilling, and has timers for everything. We have had several coffee pots that made poor coffee and every time you poured a cup of coffee, it spilled. I love this coffee maker.

Great Coffee Maker..Love it!

I love this coffee maker and I also love the three year warrant on the coffee maker which you do not find that often. Our morning and evening coffee are great and hot just the way we like it...hot hot coffee. No leakage and no problems. The option of 1-4 cups works great and does give a more flavorful coffee and the temperature selection for the pot is great the coffee is smoking hot which we love.

An execptional coffee maker...

I purchased this item for my wife because she enjoys coffee much more than I do. She is very happy with the controls and brewing features and enjoys the final product. Bottom line, if she's happy I'm happy.

I was swayed by the stellar reviews, however, the second time I used it water and coffee sludge overflowed all over my countertop. I am usually very meticulous about following directions so I know it was through no fault of mine. The coffee is OK.
It's a shame the one unfortunate incident clouded my overall opinion, but usually that's all it takes.

Great Coffee

I am very satisfied with the 12 cup Brew Central Coffe Maker. I especially appreciate the 1-4 cup feature as my wife uses decaff because of some heart issues, but I am all for caffine.

I also life the varied temperature control for the warmer feature. With a full caraffe of coffee it keeps things hot to the end.

I would recomend this product to anyone looking for a good coffee maker.

Cuisinart Coffee maker

We love this coffee maker. It is very well made, very attractively designed and looks very high end. Although we read of some complaints about the size of the opening for the water, we have no problem with it at all. Of course the quality of the coffee is dependent upon the beans one uses and your water supply but the coffee comes out hot and ours is delicious. It is very easy to clean. One suggestion for new users, the basket needs to be correctly and firmly pressed down. The bottom line is, this is my favorite coffee maker in forty five years!

Coffeemaker definitely worth considering

I purchased this coffeemaker to replace the Braun I have had for several years. I am a Braun person but they quit manufacturing the 12 cup model which I had worn out long years ago. I wanted to replace my 10 cup Braun with another 12 cup maker so I wound up purchasing this Cuisinart. I do like the fact that it makes 12 cups of coffee and is very easy to operate. A couple of down things and they're only negatives if they bother you. The water reservoir is hard to fill and the coffeemaker is rather tall. I have to pull it out from under my overhead cabinets to fill it. It does not have an outside viewer for the water level, so because it is so tall, I have to stand on my tiptoes to see how much water I am pouring in. Also the controls on the front are turn knobs instead of pushbuttons which I consider to be a little more inconvenient. It is not easy to clean and the parts have to be placed back in just so or the lid will not close on the top . However, all that said. It makes an awesome cup of coffee. Also, since it has a filter that filters the water, it must be replaced periodically and that is not really convenient to do either. I will likely not buy this model again but would buy another cuisinart if they make a few imrovements in syle. For now it serves the purpose and we will see how long I last with it. The price was good here on cooking.com and the shipping was great (free). At Christmas time that's definitely a plus.

I have always gone with

Good Coffee Maker but...

I like this coffee maker; however, there are a few things that I wish I had known before purchasing this unit.
1) On the control panel the markings are hard to see as they are small and written in white.
2) The clock is very small and also hard to read.
3) The unit is 14 inches tall which makes pouring water into the reservoir a little difficult especially if you are short.

Overall, I would say this is a wonderful coffee maker. Just wish the control panel was easier to read. Love the audible tone when brewing is completed.
