Well made, great size

I bake my own bread but wanted someplace to put it besides the refrigerator. I have a limited amount of counterspace due to all of the other small appliances taking up residence there and the matte stainless steel matched them accordingly. This bread box fits perfectly and holds two loaves with room to spare. It also fits snugly against the wall and allows the use of a large cutting board placed in front of it. Very high quality, I could find no flaws.

Perfect Size

The Brabantia Bread Box is the perfect size for my counter. I was looking for something that would not take up a lot of room. This is a nice compact Bread Box that looks great on the counter. There is plenty of room on the inside for either 2 small loaves of bread or bread and rolls.

My only issue is that unlike putting bread in the refrigerator, the bread spoils a lot quicker. By putting the bread in the refrigerator you do risk that refrigerator taste (one of the reasons I wanted a bread box, the other reason being having the bread right there but somewhat out of sight). I have not had a bread box in many years. The construction and styling has improved somewhat.

I would recommend it for a small household.

The size of this breadbox is great, and it keeps bread very fresh. Works great on the countertop.

Pricey but good

This breadbox is unnecessarily expensive, but I like the other features enough to swallow the cost. I found it difficult to find a small breadbox at all, much less one that was also attractive, and this one fits the bill beautifully. The rolling lid moves easily and there is plenty of room inside for our needs. If you have a need for lots of bread/rolls/pastries storage, this would probably be too small, but it's great for the two of us.
