Well made, great size

I bake my own bread but wanted someplace to put it besides the refrigerator. I have a limited amount of counterspace due to all of the other small appliances taking up residence there and the matte stainless steel matched them accordingly. This bread box fits perfectly and holds two loaves with room to spare. It also fits snugly against the wall and allows the use of a large cutting board placed in front of it. Very high quality, I could find no flaws.

Perfect Size

The Brabantia Bread Box is the perfect size for my counter. I was looking for something that would not take up a lot of room. This is a nice compact Bread Box that looks great on the counter. There is plenty of room on the inside for either 2 small loaves of bread or bread and rolls.

My only issue is that unlike putting bread in the refrigerator, the bread spoils a lot quicker. By putting the bread in the refrigerator you do risk that refrigerator taste (one of the reasons I wanted a bread box, the other reason being having the bread right there but somewhat out of sight). I have not had a bread box in many years. The construction and styling has improved somewhat.

I would recommend it for a small household.

The size of this breadbox is great, and it keeps bread very fresh. Works great on the countertop.

Good size, works great, but a little pricey. It is actually the only small bread box I could find.

Pricey but good

This breadbox is unnecessarily expensive, but I like the other features enough to swallow the cost. I found it difficult to find a small breadbox at all, much less one that was also attractive, and this one fits the bill beautifully. The rolling lid moves easily and there is plenty of room inside for our needs. If you have a need for lots of bread/rolls/pastries storage, this would probably be too small, but it's great for the two of us.

Great product! It's nice to have a smaller option than the normal larger sized boxes, and this one still holds two loaves of bread.

The size and design are good. However, the material is very light and I expec ted better quality considering the price. If anything touches the sides of the box, inside, it doesn't open correctly

It does the job!

I needed a bread box that was smaller than most I had seen, and this on fits the bill. It was a bit expensive, but what I wanted.

The size is just right for my needs and the look is great. Plan to enjoy it for many years to come!

I've been happy with the quality and overall look of the stainless steel bread box. The matte finish keeps the box looking clean and fingermark free. It is a good product.

Smaller version of our old one.

We bought this to replace our 10 year old larger one. Perfect size and good styling, we liked that it came brushed, we're happy. It is only moderate value for the price but we really wanted something this size so had limited selection.

Item is exact size I was looking for; seems to fit my needs. Thought price was a little high for item. Will see how material holds up over time.

Love It

I was looking for a small bread box - ideally with a flat top on which to store things considering how limited my counter space is. This is it!!
The bread box seems well made - no sharp edges, door opens and closes smoothly, has rubber stoppers so the door doesn't bang open. The only modification I intend to make is to add some rubber feet on the bottom as it seems to slide around a bit on the counter. Not a big deal.
There is space enough on top to store my cream & sugar set and salt & pepper shakers whereby also uncluttering my table.
It's wonderful.

Over-priced Bread Box

Over-priced for the awkward size and amount it holds.

Nice quality. Works well with our other stainless appliances. Do I think this product is good value for the price?.......could be lower in price for what you get. But it still worked for us to keep.

Looks great!

Looks great. Fits into small spaces beautifully. I found it rather expensive for something as simple as a bread box. Howvever, it is the only one I could find in this size and Brabantia is a good brand. Generally I am happy with it.

The Best Little Breadbox in Texas

Perfect size, rolling door is silent, very nice styling. I got the matte finish and I love it.

Even this smaller size is roomy, we can fit 2 medium loaves of bread inside. Keeps bread fresh, opens and closes very smoothly. The matte finish is best if you don't like fingerprints (although they will still be there, just less visible).
We are happy with the look as well.
