His cookbook has lots of great recipes and is well worth the purchase price! We only hope that Robert will be allowed to continue on his show because he is what makes the show so great!

I was extremely pleased at the inside glimpse at Robert Irvine the man and the cook. It gives his television show more of a heart then it already had for me prior to reading the book. It gives recipies that are not just for professionals

We love his show and never miss it!

Haven't had a chance to read through the book nor try any of the recipes yet, that will take some time, but it looks as interesting as Irvine himself. We are looking forward to reading the book and maybe trying some of the recipes, although watching him preparing them on a CD at the same time would probably help a lot!! ;D

Fantastic recipes plus fascinating stories!

by Kirsten, NY

The corn and crab chowder recipe was worth the price of the book! The stories are fascinating but for me, the recipes are the star of the book, complete with plating and serving suggestions which is unique. Chef Irvine proves that with limited ingredients and limited time, with a dash of imagination, even I can create a fantastic meal. I hope "Mission: Cook" is just the first of his books.

Get to know Robert

by Debra, IL
July 6, 2012

I really love all the stories about Robert's life in the book. It gives you an insight into who he is and how he became the man/cook that he is. You can go to school and earn degree after degree, but they are nothing compared to life experience.
