I purchased the larger waffle iron but returned it but it was too large for my needs. I was happy to see Calphalon came out with a smaller version. It works perfectly but i do thing an audible tone to let u know waffle is ready would've been good. (The larger waffle iron has it) the waffles were perfectly cooked.

Just what I was looking for

This is the perfect size. It does not take up much storage space. Like that it can be stored standing on its side. The no peek feature works great.

Real Waffles Not Belgin Waffles

This makes waffles like I grew up on. Crispy and thin not fat and puffy. If anyone wants a real waffle with no worry on the cooking this is the appliance for you.

Caphalon Round Waffle Maker

A perfectly designed piece of equipment. Not a hog for shelf space and the round shape is the easiest. I'd recommend that you set the temperature as high as it goes and when the green light comes on, wait for that light to go out and then come on again before you remove the waffle, if you want it crispy.

Very simple and straightforward to use. Used it for the first time and was a little skeptical when the booklet said not to use cooking spray on the surface. I was very relieved to find that the waffles come out perfectly without the need for spray. Darkness setting is also great.
