Start a show-stopping dinner on the stove, then transfer it directly to the oven to finish the cooking process with the Emile Henry 3.25-qt. Flame Top Braiser. Handcrafted from durable Burgundy clay, this pretty and versatile pot can be used directly on your gas range, electric stove top, in the oven, under a broiler, in the microwave or on the grill. A smooth glaze coats the braiser and keeps food from sticking, which makes this dishwasher-safe pot easy to clean. The lightweight dish features two side handles, so it's easy to lift when you're transferring it between cooking surfaces, and it comes with a tight-fitting lid that holds moisture and flavor in while you cook. It can also withstand freezer temperatures as low as 0 degrees F and handles thermal shocks without a problem, so you can freeze food in the braiser and move it directly to the oven when you're ready to cook. Whether you're preparing a French ragout, a Moroccan tagine or an all-American casserole, this flame-top braiser makes crafting spectacular multi-step meals simple. Features:
  • Crafted of Burgundy clay in France for long-lasting durability
  • Attractive appearance means you can use the pot as a serving dish as well
  • Safe for use in temperatures up to 930 degrees F for exceptional versatility
  • Freezer-safe for easy food storage
  • Nonporous surface won't absorb flavors or odors so each new dish tastes just as it should
  • Retains heat well so your food stays warm when served in the braiser

  • Cleaning & Care: Dishwasher Safe
  • Diameter: 11-in.

  • Great Find

I came across this Brazier by Emile Henry as I was looking for something that could be used to start dinner on the top of the stove and finish cooking in the over. This pan is perfect. It browns meats perfectly and then allows the cooking liquids to reduce into a perfect gravy. Looks beautiful at the table and weighs much less the the cast iron brazier pan I had been considering. Best of all, cleans up easily in the dishwasher. I originally looked at the stew pot, but I love the shape of this pan. Although a bit pricey, I think it was worth the cost.

    I recommend this product.

  • I have never seen a piece like this before. It's much larger than my largest frying pan. I like the fact it can be on the stovetop or in the oven, or move from one to the other. But best of all, like all these pieces, it is a beautiful serving container which keeps warm for a long time without the lid. A curious item, and well worth the purchase.

    I recommend this product.
