Exactly what I was looking for!

This is the good old fashioned waffle iron I could not find in stores. I wanted a dinner plate sized waffle iron, round, wrapped in stainless steel instead of plastic. Works great!

Not Perfect, But Good

by Jesse, VA
August 22, 2008

Makes good waffles quickly. Only 2 problems with design/manufacturing. 1. The overflow channel is too narrow and does not deflect overflow from the browning control. 2. The browning control has too much play in it, about 1 1/2 positions of looseness.

Two problems

by William, IL
December 31, 2010

I have used spray on cooking oil for every use, approximately 12, and the waffles consistently stick to the surface and tear. Not good. Previous waffle irons that I have owned do not require cooking oil everytime.

When the iron heats up there is an odor of hot plastic/teflon that is very disagreeable.

Nice

by Coni, NY
March 18, 2007

This is a nice waffle maker, quick and browns nicely, heavy little bugger! The only thing is, I don't believe the darkness button works, just seems really loose. Perhaps it does, seems to brown nice anyway so I'm happy.

Wow

I have not had a waffle iron for a year or two and really missed it. I wanted one that cleaned well and wasn't huge to store. BINGO... this one is great... cooks them very well.... my 8 year old son had no problem using this. It cleans up and stores easily also. I love it.

Cuisinart waffle iron

by Susan, AL
November 26, 2007

I had never cooked a waffle in my life. I made almost perfect waffles
the first time. My son recommended using cooking spray which was
a good idea. The browning control and ready light are great features.
It is a great tool for cooking challenged individuals such as myself.
If I can master it, anyone can.

First Timer

by Raquel, VT
March 18, 2008

I have never owned a waffle maker before so I wasn't sure what to expect. I have to say it was very easy to use although the batter can leak out at times. But being non-stick, clean up is still a breeze. I believe I got a good deal for the money - a basic, no-frills waffle maker that makes yummy waffles.

I purchased this waffle iron for my daughter and her family and they love it. She has wanted one for a long time. I didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars, so this was perfect. My daughter said that it makes perfect waffles, easy to clean and no sticking.

Cuisinart Round Nonstick Waffle Iron

by Jim, TX
April 26, 2008

For the price this item can not be beat. Solidly constructed. Clean up is pretty easy, once you get the hang of not overfilling. The heat selector switch seems a bit loose, but does indeed work. The nonstick surface is really nonstic. Using heat 4 and bisquick based mix I forgot to pam the surface a few times and was still able to get the waffle. This is not the +1 foot waffle iron your mother had, I do not even think they exist anymore, but the waffles are as good as I remember. All in all probably one of my most celebrated online purchases around here.

Fun childhood memories for my son

by Douglas, KY
April 19, 2009

I always had fond memories of when my mom pulled out the waffle iron when we were kids. Apparently my brother does too, because we got on the subject of waffle irons once and we both really wanted one. I had been looking around a bit, but most were too expensive to justify occasional waffles. This one was priced right. When I recieved it I was very pleased with the small size as I do not have a lot of space. I also am really impressed with how easy it is to use. Most of all, it makes great waffles that my family really enjoys. It's also pretty easy to clean up. Waffle irons have really come a long way from my Mother's big clunky model.

Great Features

The 5 browning levels and green/ready and red/cooking lights are very helpful rather than having to depend on a timer. Cooks very nice traditional waffles.

Cuisinart Waffle Iron

by Caralyn, OR

Very nice product. Works well and is very easy to use. When I unpackaged it I was a little disappointed by the size as I had imagined it to be larger. However, it works perfect and size doesn't really matter =)

Good but there are a few issues

by Leah, VA
August 5, 2008

I like that this product is small and not too big and bulky. When I made the first few waffles, they were perfect. Then when I went to make the next one, it stuck to the waffle iron. When I opened it to take out the waffle 1/2 was stuck to the top and the other half was stuck to the bottom. This happened a few more times. After that, I started to use PAM spray to coat the pan and haven't had an issue with the waffle sticking since. Also the waffles aren't as crisps as I'd like but that could be that I just have to play with the setting to find the right one for me.

For the price I paid, this is a good waffle iron once you work out the kinks.
