Waffles couldn't be easier than this. I used a recipe out of the enclosed book and they were east, quick and delicious. My teen boys enjoyed trying one from every browning selection to find their favorite. Easy cleanup and storage too.

I have one like this already and have used it a lot, wanted to invite some friends over for breakfast so that's why I bought another one. It cooks really fast and the light tells you when to pour and when it's ready.

I am not a fan of the popular Belgin style waffle irons. This one is as it should be, small holes. Old fashioned but required. The temp knob is a little loose but does not seem to cause a problem. Other than that it works very well and I like that I can stand it up for storage and wrap the cord around it as well. The shipping was fast, price good, and very well packed.

This is a great size waffle iron. It's perfect size. There is some play in the color slide but not enough to be a problem.

Impressed with the reviews for this waffle iron, I finally replaced one that bit the dust years ago. Love the compact size and the way it makes golden brown waffles in minutes.

I am hoping that with more experimenting, the waffles will come out crispier and not stick. The amount of batter recommended (1/2 cup) not sufficient to cover waffle iron.

Works fairly well with some items to note. The indicator light works well and the cooking surfaces seem to heat evenly. There is no place for any excess batter to flow except down the sides, but this is common on most waffle irons. Experiment with the batter to find the best consistency and amount for each waffle. I do like the size and quick cooking time for each waffle. Easy to make enough waffles for breakfast in timely manner.

Love the waffle iron! I have no idea why folks love those "Belgian Waffle Irons", we prefer the old fashioned ones! Anyway, the product works great, and we would agree that the temp control is somewhat loose, but it still performs great. Glad we bought it.

Loved the temperature selection, I tried the highest setting because I enjoy crispy waffles. The waffles turned out wonderful: easily came off iron, crispy outer layer and tender cake inside. Can't wait to try my own version of Chicken 'n Waffles!

We have spent a lot of money on waffle irons at my house. The last best one was from an "antique shop" and was already 25 yrs. old. It burned up, finally. Since then many have been purchased and thrown away. We liked the minimalist look of this iron AND the price was right. After one use, we think it performs just like the "old fashioned" one did. Hooray for this simple waffle iron!

I bought this to finish a breakfast basket I was giving to a charity auction so I can't review the product. I bought this particular waffle iron because I like the Cuisinart brand, my daughter has one and she is very happy with her's, and the product was on sale and was THE best price available online and in stores. This was my first time buying from epicurious and the service was great.
