Forget frozen toaster waffles and expensive restaurant visits. Make fluffy and delicious waffles right at home whenever the mood strikes you with this Cuisinart Nonstick Waffle Iron. The round shape allows you to cook four wedge-shaped waffles, golden brown and ready for the toppings of your choice, at one time. The handy five-setting browning control allows you to choose just how light or toasted you want your finished product, and the nonstick finish makes it easy to remove your completed waffles without worry about breakage or tearing -- plus, cleaning up when you're done cooking isn't a chore. The regulating thermostat helps to ensure even cooking throughout your waffle, so you'll achieve a perfect finish without undercooked or overcooked spots throughout. You'll save time and trouble and enjoy steadier, more reliable cooking thanks to the ready indicator light -- it will let you know when your waffles are done, so you won't have to keep opening the lid to check. We're confident that the slick stainless steel finish will look incredible in your modern kitchen whenever it's in view, and this waffle iron is compact enough to store in a cabinet or leave out on the counter, so you'll be ready to make waffles any time. Serve your fresh waffles with some butter and maple syrup, or top them with fresh fruit, whipped cream and a dusting of confectioners' sugar for a light and delicious dessert.

  • Exactly what I wanted

I looked all around my town for a waffle iron and believe it or not, nobody carries them (even you know who-Mart). So I went online to find one and (well you know the internet) I could find them everywhere!! I chose this one because it was exactly what I wanted. Alot of the other sites had waffle irons that swore they could do anything (except the dishes) and I wanted a simple way to make waffles (which I love). Cooking.com has alot of nice items. It's a good place to shop.

    I recommend this product.

  • Great Features

The 5 browning levels and green/ready and red/cooking lights are very helpful rather than having to depend on a timer. Cooks very nice traditional waffles.

  • Cuisinart Round Nonstick Waffle Iron

For the price this item can not be beat. Solidly constructed. Clean up is pretty easy, once you get the hang of not overfilling. The heat selector switch seems a bit loose, but does indeed work. The nonstick surface is really nonstic. Using heat 4 and bisquick based mix I forgot to pam the surface a few times and was still able to get the waffle. This is not the +1 foot waffle iron your mother had, I do not even think they exist anymore, but the waffles are as good as I remember. All in all probably one of my most celebrated online purchases around here.

    I recommend this product.

  • First Timer

I have never owned a waffle maker before so I wasn't sure what to expect. I have to say it was very easy to use although the batter can leak out at times. But being non-stick, clean up is still a breeze. I believe I got a good deal for the money - a basic, no-frills waffle maker that makes yummy waffles.

    I recommend this product.

  • Simple, reliable, easy to clean and store

We were looking for a conventional waffle iron, after our old one wore out after many years. This is a simple, reliable, easy to clean iron, requiring very little space to store. The waffles are excellent and the cooking and cleaning so easy that we sometimes even make waffles on weekday mornings, before school and work.

  • Makes waffles quickly. Easy to use.

Makes waffles in 3 mins. Be sure to brush surface with oil before each waffle to prevent sticking. Let it preheat at least 5 mins. before first use or the waffle will stick. The size is perfect. Make a large batch and place each one in a gallon size zip lock bag, throw in the freezer and then bake at 350 x 10 min. for great easy weeekday breakfasts.

    I recommend this product.

  • Waffle Iron Needs Improvement in Design

I chose this product after reading some of the reviews online. I was interested in a very basic model that had some type of visual signal when the waffle was done. This part works very consistently.

My real disappointment was that the batter always has a tendency to run over the edge on every waffle I attempted. Most of the time, the batter would run over the front edge and into the recessed area behind the temperature control lever. Cleaning the mess took ten or fifteen minutes, about five times as long as cooking the waffle. I even thickened the mix but that didn't help matters too much. Having made waffles for nearly ten years, I couldn't imagine that my receipe had any great impact on the problem. (My previous waffle iron (made in the early 60's) never had this problem because it was constructed with a drip channel that diverted any excess batter into a different area). After the third and fourth day with similar results, I completely replaced the list of ingredients with a simple solution that eliminated the mess, and provided me with a reason to keep the iron. I simply put French toast on the wafflemaker and now I have breakfast.

  • Cuisinart waffle iron

I had never cooked a waffle in my life. I made almost perfect waffles
the first time. My son recommended using cooking spray which was
a good idea. The browning control and ready light are great features.
It is a great tool for cooking challenged individuals such as myself.
If I can master it, anyone can.
