The product was ok, but it didn't really open the nut as much as crush it. Also it can not fit a walnut in it's mouth unless it is really small. The unit is not very stable eather. I think if the mouth opened wider and the base was wider it would be much better. Also I ordered this 5 days before X-Mas and got it 15 days after X-Mas, delievery is way to slow.

The Nutty Squirrel Nutcracker is a fun tabletopper, people definitely ask questions about it. The only problem is that if you like Walnuts, the mouth of the squirrel doesn't quite open enough to get the whole nut in, so it;s hard to crack those, but other then that, I haven't had any problems.

these were purchased for holiday gifts, one for our home… others sent out.
charming concept. quality ok. not as solid or heavy duty as had thought but works well. defintaely brings a smile when in use!
