Masher?

I bought this calphalon masher thinking it would be just as useful and of good quality as my calphalon pans. The trouble with it is that whatever you are mashing gets stuck in the holes. Not very helpful...

I have enjoyed using this potato masher for mashing grapes, blackberries, and plums, in preperation for making juices to make jellies. It really beats having to mash the fruits with my hands. The handle on this masher just fits you hand perfect. I feel sure it will work great when I have time to have cream potatoes. Right now, I am to busy making jellies. I wouldn't give my potato masher to anyone because I find that it is a great kitchen tool to have at my fingertips.

Although I really don't eat a lot of potatoes anymore, none the less I've found that this masher works like a charm on dishes like baked squash. It's pretty sturdy and haven't experienced any give whatsoever when using it. Would definitely buy again.
