I bought this to use with the Calphalon Contemporary Nonstick Grill pan. These do the job. I kind of wish I would have invested in the stainless steel/ silicone tipped set. But these seem to be quality. And I like how the locking mechanism works. Overall, a good value for the price.

I love that it's light weight but still able to handle the thickest steaks i cook. The lock is at the end it stays closed when i want to. love all the calphalon products..

A little info please...

I chose these tongs because, I needed a pair for my non-stick pans, and also, honestly, I only needed to spend 10 more dollars to save on the shipping! When the tongs came, I couldn't figure out how they opened, and I saw no instructions. My husband finally figured it out after fiddling with them for a few minutes. I do like the stay-locked feature for storage.

I really like these tongs to use with my non stick cookware. The only complaint I have is that I wish the tongs had a little tigher grip. I use them mostly for serving pasta and it doesnt grab it quite as firmly as I would like but it still works well.
