Make delicious omelettes right in your microwave with the Lekue Omelette Cooker. Made from 100 percent platinum silicone, this omelette cooker has nonstick properties that allow it to release your food easily. You won't need to add any oils or fat, making your omelettes much more healthy than if you cooked them in a standard fry pan. Using this omelette cooker is simple. Beat one, two or three eggs with milk or water, season them to taste and put them in the omelette cooker. After a few minutes in the microwave, you'll have light, fluffy and healthy omelette. Give your omelette a nutrition boost by adding cut-up vegetables. Simply put some chopped bell pepper, mushrooms and onion in the omelette cooker, add a little water and steam them in the microwave. Add in your beaten eggs and cook for a few minutes more for a perfectly delicious vegetable omelette. The Lekue Omelette Cooker is 9 inches wide, so it will fit into most standard microwave ovens, and since it is dishwasher safe, post-meal cleanup is unbelievably easy.

Best Used For:

Get creative with your omelette creations. Add feta cheese and baby spinach for a Greek omelette, make a country omelette with ham and cheddar cheese or go gourmet with sun-dried tomatoes, chopped spinach and goat cheese. If you're watching your calories, use the Lekue Omelette Cooker to make delicious egg-white omelettes with vegetables or snipped fresh herbs for flavor.

  • Quick Omelette

I appreciated the ease of preparing the omelette. Two cautions!! I put a few too many veggies initially. I added one pre-measured container of egg whites. Part of the egg oozed out during cooking. The cover rises during the cooking process allowing egg to seep out. The brochure recipes are calibrated to an 800w microwave so experiment with 60% - 70% power. Finally, the one thing missing is the crusty exterior from the frying pan, but you've eliminated the oil that creates that crust. Enjoy!

    I recommend this product.

  • Omelette Cooker

Doesn't really handle a 3-egg-omelette without bubbling over and requiring a full scale cleanup of microwave after each use. Too bad, too, because it IS a good idea, that a bit deeper wells and better design could have made work!

  • Not easy to use

We did not find the instructions to be accurate, and the liquid oozed out of the omlette maker. We bought two as gifts in addition to our own. Perhaps if there were better instructions we would have had better results.

  • Good, but small

Makes a good, low fat omelette. But I had to buy two, as this is what I usually make. This also meant that I had to divide everything - a pain, but tasty and no skillet to clean.

    I recommend this product.

  • Don't be lazy and waste your $$$$$$

It came. Damaged,. Attempted to use it not realized ...eggs came through a hole defect and went all over the place. In conclusion even if this didn't occur what a waste of money.....

  • Kind of fun, certainly innovative

Some very clever features in this: the very idea of a silicone material as a foldable omelette pan is clever enough, the lid serves as a chopping board...etc.We have only used it twice so far, but as the seasons change and we trend more toward stews and omelettes we'll certainly use it more.

    I recommend this product.

  • Omelette cooker

I love the concept of this. It takes a few trial & errors to get an omelette just right if you're putting lot's of stuff in it. Once you get it down, it's okay and a timesaver. Microwaved eggs aren't my favorite though, unless you cook & flavor the eggs just right. But, it comes with a few recipe suggestions.

    I recommend this product.

  • Mostly disappointed

The idea here is very good. The execution of it is a little less exciting. The silicone used to make this omelet is so pliable that you tend to spill as you move it from the counter to the microwave. It tends to boil over leaving a mess in the wave. And the overall result is "mildly satisfactory" at best. Good idea. But this isn't the one you probably want to buy.

While this product did an excellent job and helped clean out the leftover veggies in the frig, I felt it was a bit pricey. Time will tell how it holds up to use.

  • Microwave Omelette Cooker

I got this product for the convenience of not having to take out the pan, and then have to clean the pan. I thought it would be a time-saver for me. WRONG! The omelette tasted like rubber. I thought I had left it in too long (although my microwave is only 1000 watts) so I tried it again a few days later, using less time than advised in the instructions. It came out a bit better, but still terrible. Not worth the price or the effort. Stick with pans. The only time I can see using this is if you really want an omelette and you do not have access to a stove and you do have access to a microwave. Even then I would seriously consider choosing something else for your meal.

It was fine. It was a little messy but I think I put the egg on the wrong side. I will try again and learn from my mistakes. I was satisfied with the product, however I think better instructions should be included.

  • Quick delicious meal with no grease

I wanted to try this out when I saw it. I wanted to see how can I make an Omelette using my microwave instead of my stove and a skillet. The taste is pure egg. You can tell the butter is missing but you know it is that much more healthy than a traditional Omelette.
