I love this toaster. It's compact and yet big enough for bagels and wide bread. It does seem to get the bread little browner on one side, but it's not that much and doesn't affect the overall outcome

I LUV this toaster...I have never had a good toaster b4; just the $20 kind. It was a good value at $50, which is what I paid, but I wouldn't have paid more for ANY toaster. Toasts evenly and the digital display helps to get an exact shade. I have used the defrost function, it toasted the bread a smidgeon, but i didn't mind.

I bought this toaster as a christmas gift for my mom. She wanted a different color so I ordered it in red. She absolutely loved it and so did I! The next time I buy a toaster this is the one that I will buy for myself. With regular toast I don't find a need to go above level 3. I don't understand why people complain about the beeping noise the toaster makes when the toaster is done. I did not find it loud at all and the beep alert from my microwave to be much louder than this. I only heard it give one brief beep and it was not annoying at all. It is a beautiful toaster and seems perfect!

I haven't had this toaster that long but I like how it toasts, both bread and other items like English muffins or bagels. The sides stay cool which I also like very much. Basically it does exactly what I need quite well. My one complaint is the piercing alarm that goes off, three beeps, when the item is ready. Really, first thing in the morning, I really don't want to hear what sounds like a smoke detector going off. I wonder why, when the appliance turns off when it is done, the manufacturer felt such an urgent sounding tone was needed.
