The Twist Lock Stainless Steel Blending Arm simply seats onto the motor body and is rotated to lock together. The sharp stainless steel blade is covered to help prevent splashing while blending.
The 5-ft. power cord is long enough to take the Hand Blender to the cook-top or work area and rounded with no grooves for easy clean up. A silicone strap for power cord is included with this model.
The 3-Cup BPA Free Blending Jar is is handy for individual blending jobs and features a non-slip base. Lid seals the top of the jar to store blended ingredients.
The Whisk Attachment and Adapter is optimized for whipping egg whites and whipping cream. The Whisk attachment utilizes the same twist-on and lock mounting system as the other attachments.
The Chopper Attachment is perfect for small chopping jobs like herbs, nuts and vegetables. Chopper includes a bowl, blade, and chopper adapter. The chopper has a non-slip base on the bottom of the bowl to prevent movement of the entire attachment during chopping process.
Included is a cotton twill drawstring bag is designed with three pockets to store the Hand Blender motor body, the stainless steel blending attachment, and the whisk attachment. The storage bag is machine washable.

THis may be the third immersion blender I've purchased.....they get a Lot of use here. I am really impressed with the "feel" of the KitchenAide blender. I am not sure if I will need all 3 speeds, but like that option. I also like the way the pieces fit together so there is less chance to strip the gears, it also appears that the fittings are metal and not rubber which should extend it's life.

I purchased the imersion blender to replace my old Betty Crocker immersion blender that I have had for about 15 years. The reason I replaced it was that the Contour, allows the blades to be cleaned seperately from the motor and the old immersion blender was hard to clean. I have only used the new blender once, but it worked well. My only issue is that the sleek design makes it difficult to take the blades off the motor. If you have any problems with hand strength, this may make the product less desirable.

Heavy duty and well build is what I was looking for. I love this hand held blender does everything I wanted and allot more, plus its beautiful to look at and easy to clean.

I like the minimal cleanup and the reliability. My last China made blender worked well the first time and then broke on the second. I would like to see the day when a company declares that it will not, under any cercumstances, sell anything that comes from China.
