I purchased this stand mixer as a gift for a family member. I already have an Artisan Stand Mixer and it is simply the best mixer on the market. Easy to use and with a very strong motor it whips through all my Christmas cookie batters.
I would definitely recommend this mixer to anyone looking for a quality product.
All of my life I have wanted to purchase a good Kitchen Aid mixer. I have even purchased them for my Daughters as they have started their own families but never could get off my wallet to buy myself one. I finally purchased one and have been so glad I did! I have made breads, muffins, cupcakes, cakes, ground meats, and pastas with it and have really enjoyed using this mixer with attachments. It is somewhat large for my kitchen counters but it has been such a pleasure to use that the size is easy to forgive.

Easy, to work, easy to add ingredients, easy to mount, dismount, switch blades. Very smooth operation. My only grump is that it is difficult to clean the blades, but a certain amount of that is to be expected.

If you do not have one of these You should have one. I has a small hand held one. That broke when I was trying to mix up stuff here. So far this tangerine Stand Mixer has held up to what I can make. I even can make homemade marshmellows with the Mixer with out worring about it falling part. I would say this is the best mixer I could get for myself here as a Christmas gift or any gift.

I am enjoying the newer model's features-handle on the bowl, feed guard, etc. All in all, I find that the mixer and its capabilities to be very similar to my old model that I passed on to a friend since it was still working very well.

My Aunts always had kitchen aid products. I have ask for one since I got married and never got one. My father pasted away and left me some money. I decide what better way to honor him. So I bought the mixer I always wanted. I can bake and cook at ease. I have a family of 8 to cook for. I love the orange color in my kitchen. Clean up is great also. It makes me want to cook healthy again...

The color is just perfect, the exact robin egg's blue shade I was looking for for my cheery retro kitchen, and I loved the fact that I could have it shipped to Canada "borderfree". Not only was it cheaper than buying it here, but this color was not even available in Canada. I'm looking forward to years and years of baking and mixing.

The only negative thing I have to say is that the handle of the bowl is tack-welded on: not as sturdy as it used to be. Still, it's not going anywhere! This mixer is a monster, whipping omelettes, ok... but bread dough, cookie dough even! I also recommend the sausage grinder attachment, which works well (and easily). Lastly, the color's gorgeous!

This KitchenAid mixer makes everyday tasks in the kitchen so simple. I don't have all the fancy attachments, but am using the dough hook and flat beater just about every single day. And since arthritis has set into some of my fingers, I am so glad to have this mixer that holds the bowl steady and works the dough. And the handle on the bowl makes it easy to manage. I make bread a couple times a week and muffins/scones and sauces about the same. Also use it whenever an entree wants something prepped by mixing. One bowl, one quick cleanup afterwards. Place of honor on the kitchen counter. Too good to be true.
Only negative is the color: my cobalt mixer has a tad of purple to the blue tone (unlike all my cobalt pottery), and so I put the mixer on a hammered aluminum tray to give it a break from the dark blue of my
